I wish I was joking but unfortunately this is true.
Ballot initiatives were approved in West Virginia and Alabama banning abortion. In Alabama they are trying to give personhood rights to a zygote/fetus making certain contaceptives illegal. So by taking them you could face actual criminal sentences. This will go into affect if Roe vs. Wade is overturned.
The trump administration has rolled back a rule in the Affordable Care Act. This will allow employers to remove insurance coverage of birth control for their employees based on religious ideology. This will go into effect in about two months.
Ladies are we winning yet?

Im surprised Arkansas isnt still in the dark ages like this too. It makes me sad for women who live there. I was born from a rape but i would have understood if she didnt want a reminder of that for 9 months. Catholic families in the 80s tho, so here I am. Particularly in rape cases, i think it is imperative to have this option. Also, the world is overpopulated. If they dont want to bring another mouth to feed into this world, i dont blame them. I just dont get these archaic ways of thinking. Education is key to keeping unplanned pregnancies from happening. Lets focus on mandatory sex ed specifically focused on communicable diseases, and pregnancy and parenthood.
