Do Guns kill people?

My dad told me something one time when I was 5. Whenever I heard something on the news about Bosnia and the crap that went on with Kosovo at the time. He used to say "Guns don't kill people, death kills people". He told it was proven fact that death was very common and people died because of death. He even gave me tips on how to avoid death. But of course he grew up on a farm and he didn't know much about the outside world. Me on the other hand would rather say that guns don't kill people, people kill people. It just depends on what tool they used to do it with or what was their motive. I honestly don't believe guns kill people unless it just happened to go off at the wrong time or someone was playing around with it and they accidentally shot it off. I know some people are willing to put gun laws in place which is justified sense, but I don't think it's right to take them off the street completely. What do you think?

Either way, no-- I don't believe we should be disarmed.
Here's all you need to know. Sadly, too many Americans have been dumbed down over the past 30 years and they don't know history. This is why all the false flags have been occurring: 9/11, Aurora, CO, Sandy Hook, Boston etc. etc.etc......It's all part of the government trying to disarm the people. And they actually got away with Martial Law during Katrina and Boston. It's alarming so many people can be so easily fooled. With today's social media, you can find the truth in about 10 minutes if you want it bad enough. People are sheeple. They care more about what new gadget they can buy or what new TV show is the one to watch than they do about their freedom. PATHETIC.

Australia-wide, armed robberies went up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns.
It will never happen here? I bet the Aussies said that too.
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady DECREASE in armed robbery with firearms, that changed drastically upward in the first year after gun confiscation...since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late.
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind him of this history lesson.

It was reported that when asked why Japan did not follow up the Pearl Harbor attack with an invasion of the U. S. Mainland, his reply was that he had lived in the U. S. and knew that almost all households had guns.

When Florida passed the first ???shall-issue?? law requiring authorities to issue concealed weapons permits to qualified citizens upon request in 1987, critics warned that the Sunshine State would soon become the ???Gunshine?? State, with predictions of differences being settled by gun fights in the streets, and crime soaring.
The exact opposite happened. As Guncite.com noted, ???homicide rates dropped faster than the national average [and] through 1997, only one permit holder out of over the 350,000 permits issued, was convicted of homicide.??

It's so much deeper than a "gun " but FEAR. You install that in a society, they start to believe anything.

Guns never did kill people, unless they misfired. But even then the gun misfiring is on the users part for not keeping maintenance. But as one person said- "The first step to taking away human rights, is taking away the right to defend ourselves". I'm not sure who said it, but I can assure you they were either British, French, or American in nature.
