i am an aries, born on the 21st march (first day of aries) so i am an aries in some ways but also a pisces in that i think way too much about things and tend to be in a daydream most of the time.
anyways, i fancy the pants off this cancer guy, but have only been on 1 date with him so far because we're both in different universities for another month. he said he likes me and the date went well.
as an aries i am very chatty and open, but also impatient.
i also have mostly guy mates and love the banter with them.
iv heard cancer guys can be slow and indirect, and want to suss you out before declaring their feelings.
i am wanting to text and flirt with him, but im afraid il scare him off.
i know its early days and im probably a bit eager, but thats my aries side. hehe

anyways i would just like to hear some of your experiences with this kinda man, because iv never really been involved with a cancer. i know aries and cancer arent usually an easy match but im hoping my pisces qualities will help

thanks smile
I'm a cancer male, and I usually find Aries to be too head strong and independent for me. But you are right on the Pisces cusp, so I think it may work, especially if your guy has some fire in his chart. Don't be afraid to flirt over text messages or msn/whatever else you use. He already said he liked you, so he has made his feelings clear. We can be very indirect at times, but that doesn't mean we don't pursue a goals. It just means we go about it in ways most people think is sideways, or even backwards at times.
as an aries i am very chatty and open, but also impatient.

It's good that you're chatty. Cancers can tend to keep their feelings to themselves at times, especially when we feel like we are being attacked or threatened. So being chatty can help nurse us out of our shell and tell you what we're feeling. But being impatient won't help! You really need a lot of patience when dealing with Cancers. Depending on the particular crab you are dealing with, we can be very open, or hide away for hours or even days at a time. During these periods, we can seem very distant, detached, and uninterested. This is not the case, we are just trying to work things out with ourselves first, and only when we feel ready will we go back to normal and stop sulking. It's very important during these periods to not be too forceful, as that can cause us to retreat and hide even further, and then you're back to square one. My best advice if a situation like this comes up, where your man seems like he doesn't care anymore, is first, give him space. Be there to support him and listen to him if he wants, but don't try to force him into a position or force him to make a decision he doesn't want, or isn't ready to make. Let him come to the decision on his own (even if you've been gently nudging him all along).
Also, don't be surprised when you are finally able to spend some time with him, if he wants to spend every waking (and sleeping) moment within arms reach of you. Some if not most Cancers can get very attached very quickly and it can seem almost smothering. I think this may be hard for you independent Aries to deal with, but he is just showing he cares. If it becomes too much to handle, talk to him and let him know you are used to having your space and some alone time. It may hurt his feelings a little, but as long as you talk to him honestly about it before hand, he shouldn't be that hurt, or if he is it should only be tempo
thanks you guys,
i wouldnt mind one bit if he wanted to spend all his time with me, it would be nice to be wanted n needed. smile
im not going to see him til end of may, so will only get the chance to chat online, or txt (but i kno he hasnt got credit at the mo)
how do you think i should proceed??
should i keep being friendly and chatty? or should i cool off and let him contact me first?
i dont really want to play any games, i just want him to like me more
