Ok, didn't really want to start a new thread, but it is dif enough from the last...

"Are you afraid of growing old alone?"

My response: I would like a companion to grow old with
Aries response: I know that my friends will always be there for me

UGH! Seems so different on the surface, but it is, really?

In any case, your perceptions on the original Q?

Again, post Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars (just because I think energy can drive this perception).

I have seen many friends die of cancer...

So yes, in some ways I fear being alone or sick and alone...and it would be comforting to know there was that one person that you share your most intimate things with that will be by your side... However, if this not be the case I do know that I have 3 beautiful daughters plus family and some real close friends that will be there for me.

But it is something I have thought about, and as P picks up, it wasn't until I was getting older that I started thinking about it.

But as for growing old in general...as long as you have lived your life to the full, there's no point fearing it, it will inevitably happen!

I have born old, so the soul is always the most important thing. How do you grow and care about others and the world is what matters to me.

I almost never did things young people do when I was your age. No discos, no dates, no stupid childish attitudes, and so on.

When my father had to work away I was the boss of the house, since early age.

I am the company to others, not others to me, only their souls are my companions forever.

The older I get the more I've been thinking about my own mortality...yes even at 29. Getting older per say doesnt bother me...it's bound to happen..just the thought of not having control over when my life will end is my fear. (irrational fear...yes I know)

Do I want to be alone and grow old...no..but if it happens it happens..I just hope when I die someone finds my body sooner rather than later lol

I am happy being in my 30s. I don't know how I'm going to feel when I am at the cusp of 40. I admit that while I enjoy the wisdom that comes with age, I am not enjoying the fact that I'm starting to look mature. Hey I am a Taurus with a Libra Ascendant so I will admit to a bit of shallowness. I have been anti-aging since the age of 27. The best thing about aging though is most definitely that you are invariably a more secure person in your romantic relationships. Your expectations of your partner are different and realistic. You know that life and love isn't a fairytale. The other good thing is that you finally find your voice in your 30s. You aren't as eager to please and so you speak your truth whatever that might be.

Being alone is not an issue for me, having someone to share life's "moments" is/would be special to have along for the journey 🙂

You are not alone if you have someone to talk to.

And that someone can be anyone, from friends and family to decent people online.

That is lovely to read 🙂
