type paragraphs, they show you're trying to start a conversation just pick something like a social topic or how you think internally and write a lot. Don't make the conversation like small talk, none of that "how's your day" shit, just pick something you could both talk about and type out a couple sentences hopefully end with a question so they can join in but not one where they can give a yes or no answer

So i texted him and guess what, he was not too excited after receiving my text. He was just normal.

As in he didn't ask once what's up with me and stuff.
We talked about a few things and I left the conversation, and he messaged me a few hours later with a "hello" and shared some frustration about his colleagues and we continued exchanging very few messages throughout the next day, again at night he didn't reply to one of my messages and left me on seen.
