Ideal First Valentine's

Hypothetically, what would be an ideal Valentine's Event for you? Not thinking of just the ONE day...

I'm not very sentimental or romantic so I kinda hate Valentines day lol. Umm I think it would be cool to just hang out and do something unconventional, like play video games and order in. I can't be dealing with that pink hearts shit😛

All the nerds just fell in love.

I have sun/venus in Libra.. everyday is Valentine's. I don't like to make it just one day.. that notion defeats the purpose. Valentine's Day is usually a day where retailers have a field day to see a surge in sales.

I don't have an ideal event. Unique and creative things are always best rather than a given event per se.

One year I created a scavenger hunt throughout the house for my Cancer ex... I made up little rhyming hints as to where to look next. I think I'll keep to myself what the final hint led to 😉

I love all of the above replies...Yes, I am Libra and everyday is a special day. I do not prescribe to the holidays as given. I always challenge the person I am with to do something over and above what everyone else is doing. However, I know what I do and do not like..but also recognize that some others are traditional in how they live life. MY LIFE IS ANYTHING BUT TRADITIONAL...LOL

Thats why we should "occupy" Valentine's Day until it is changed to "I Tolerate You Day" cause thats essentially what I celebrate on Feb. 14th's these days.

I do have a friend who told me that he had an awesome Valentine's Day once. He was dating this girl he really had feelings for and they were forced to break-up, her father or some shit. So my friend said he was very heart-broken and realized that he would have to leave her alone (her wishes) so he moved on (i remember him not seeing any other girls or enjoying their company during that time, he really missed that girl) anyways, he had completely given up and literally forced himself to have a good time again. Then one day she called him and they began talking again and he said that a few weeks later on that Valentine's Day, she came over and they did it for the first time.
He says it was amazing cause he wasnt expecting her to come over and give herself to him blah- blah -blah.

So i tell him all the time,
"Dude she broke up with you cause she had something else going on the side that didnt work out and then she came back to you, fucks you on Valentine's Day and you think its special when you were just the 'back-up' plan."
He hates that. We joke about it now cause he left her for some other girl like four months later.
The point of my story is.....Its all bullshit. Be your own Valentine's, every day.

Personally, I wouldn't even want to be with a person who would have to ask someone else for an idea on what to get me.

You ask people for fresh ideas ... does this mean you have no imagination or creativity?

This person is yours, you should know what to get him/her .... if you go with an idea from someone else, which means it's not something that came from YOUR HEART .. then doesn't that negate the meaning of Valentines Day?

Not a fan of it but i think a good fun way to spend it is those paint gun fights opposed to the mushy romantic overly done forceful stuff.

Boat ride down venice, some tiramisu, and maybe an evening at the opera.
