He left me a voicemail (jokingly) saying "don't be ignoring my calls, just cause you from the valley don't mean you can ignore a brothas calls!!"

Later on I texted "I need your arms"
He immediately responded "what's wrong??"
He called again but this time I answered and explained the tough day I was having and it was shit left to right..
He drove an hour and 30 to my house and I come out and he says, "my arms are all warmed up for you.." he brought me sunflowers (my fave) & he held me and listened to me vent and complain for hours with no complaints.." and then took me out for dinner and drinks and a good time to get my mind off of my situation.. no intentions of having sex either!! one of the best times EVER with him..

I think in most situations it's "the heart wants the heart wants."
There's a lot of good individuals out there that is better but you're just attracted to that person probably because the appearance, the personality or just the feeling you get with them.
In my situation, yeah, I've seen a ton of great people with good-looks & with great personalities.
But with experiences, I've became attracted to the one person who could comprehend where I am coming from, & not showing any ignorance of my situation, which I find very disrespectful.
If I am telling you my feelings & opening up to you, I would expect some respect & seriousness into the topic. Instead of changing it into a joke & acting like nothing has happened afterwards. Like what the hell? I just opened up to you.
But with one specific person, I just feel tuned to them. Usually I would get some gut instincts if something wasn't right, which I would ignore.
For sure, I fall for someone with a barrier of jokes, who listens, & remembers what I've told them. And with common sense.
The heart wants what the heart wants ..
But it's nothing like an immediate vibe you pull from the person..
And when you express your true feelings they make you feel good about feeling that way by expressing themselves also..
I immediately get turned off by men who come off like they're the "shit" and joke around with my feelings OR only talk about 1 thing.. sex.. or the new day in age saying "send me pics" .. then when you send appropriate pics they ask for more, meaning, that was nice but show me skin! Ughhh! ?

I still had my walls up and such. Still needed to get to know him but...
There was just something about him. He wasn't perfect, but everything he did (in my opinion) was perfect. He did things that I never thought I needed. It was kinda like a perfect formula of the right amount of attention, care, enthusiasm/fun etc. was practiced.
