Marriage in astrology

I found this which is kind of interesting to find out when you will marry.

1 Look first for the distance in degrees between Venus, the planet of love, and your natal Sun. Venus is usually close to the Sun by zodiacal degree, and is one of the most important marriage indicators.

2 Next look for the distances between any of the other four "love planets"--Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. (In astrology, we use the term planets for Sun and Moon for the sake of convenience.) Check out also the distance between any of these four planets and the Ascendant or Midheaven. Each degree of distance will equate roughly to a year of your life.


3 Take the example of a man whose Sun is at 6 (24)degrees of Virgo and whose Venus is in the following sign at 10 degrees of Libra. He married a little later in life than most men do. He was 34 years old by the time he took a bride.


4 There are 30 degrees in each sign. With his Sun at 6 degrees of Virgo, there were 24 degrees remaining in Virgo to add to the 10 degrees in Libra to find the distance between his Sun and Venus. The total of 24 and 10 is 34, his age at his first marriage.

I would but I myself am really confused on this. I ended up getting like 35..and I don't wanna be a spinster. no 2 thing that I am scared of.

Hmm.. my Sun and Venus are 41 degrees apart.

Libra's Sun and Venus are 42 degrees apart.

There is no way to manage him being 42 and me being 41 at (his first) marriage.. but if we married at some point between February and October 2014, I'd be 42.. and he'd be 41. lol

I think my Sun and Venus are ~28degrees apart. I like! Can't really see myself getting married before then.

Your examples of the virgo guy don't figure #2 into the equation. Even if they did, he'd probably be really old because planets, like the moon, can be anywhere in the zodiac.

If I were to go by venus and sun, I would have been 20-21, and I haven't been married yet. I did my bf's just to make sure and it was also off. He got married when he was 25 and his chart says 39. Sooo, this is purely entertainment 🙂

Moon Virgo 27.47 + 150?? = 178??

Now just get a calculated and find the difference between the angles

No particular order, e.g. I can calculate the difference between Midheaven and Mars.

Note:

It gets tricky with calculating the difference between Pisces-Aries or Pisces-Taurus...so what you do is ADD 360 to Aries/Taurus ON TOP of what you already added(e.g. Moon in Taurus 2?? (+30??) -> 32?? (+360??) -> 392?? )

For e.g.
Sun Pisces 341c
Venus Aries 9?? + 360?? = 369??
IV Aries 11?? + 360?? = 371??

now I can do:

Venus(369??) - Sun(341??) = 28?? (28yrs)
IC(371??) - Sun(341??) = 30?? (30yrs)

So, according to LostPisces' calculations, I should wait until I'm 36 to get married? There has to be another number (preferably smaller) for me to get married. I've told myself if I don't get married by 35, I won't even bother. My mom got married at around that age; I REFUSE to wait that long. I'm 27; I want to get married & have kids while my eggs are still in their peak. I know many people will say I can have kids without a husband. But going with what I was taught as a child, I believe having children should only occur within marital bond. I will not have kids outside of wedlock.

Is 36 the only number for me or is there another one?
