Synastry VS Composite?

Which do you put more weight in with compatibility? Synastry supposedly has more "play room" since it deals with you each individualy, where composite is firm, as you can't change the combined energy....
I didn’t know this. Going to do a composite chart now. I’ve always done synastry ones

OMG!!!! I just did the Virgo and I's Composite!!! 
I don't know if I can believe this, seems too good to be true, if it's firm. A lot of this synastry stuff, I take with a grain of salt because I can get turned off by negativity so often. I'm gonna post it here. So far I'm loving it though! Thanks for the insight. Guess I should find out if he even likes me first!
