I'm the Aries he's a Gemini, what should I not do ? Can I be direct with him at times? Or is clever/tactful the wise choice ? Thanks for any advice

You should not go out with him again. But you will, so I recommend:
Do not get emotionally involved. He won't.
Wrap your heart in cotton wool, duct tape and barbed wire. Don't let him near the thing.
If you want to capture his heart you need to morph into a virgo that can't do anything for itself or a scorpio who threatens suicide every time things don't go her way.
Having a strong sexy chick at their side is something they like to fantasize about but don't have the guts to go through with.
