Are relationships supposed to be easy?

What do you think? I know all relationships require some effort to be put in...but some are smooth and others feel like you're holding them together at the seams and still manage to last a long time. I guess this is a matter of opinion and what we're all willing to put up with.
in the beginning they should be somewhat easy.

I think easier than the ones I've had, lol.
it's about harmony.

give and take.

above all, it should be fun hehe.
Hell no
Anybody who says relationships are smooth sailing is doomed for failure. It's not. Once you get past the honeymoon phase and hormones settle you have to deal with your differences in personality or needs and wants and it takes work.

However, some people's needs and differences are MORE compatible with your own than others. That would mean it is a little bitter smoother, maybe less fighting or misunderstandings. But absolutely no relationship is without those things. It's not possible.

In the first 6 months to a year should be easy but then after is when they start to let their guard down and vulnerability kicks in and you see the true nature.
If it's the start of the relationship than things should be relatively easy. If your constantly arguing and in conflict that isn't a good sign.

It's more important that your aligned on the main issues. And perhaps a better question is how you both deal with conflict. Cause conflict is gonna eventually happen.
