Does anyone believe in twin flames?

I recently found out what a twin flame is. And I've been dealing with a guy for 3 years who I believe is my twin flame.
The synchronicity is very real. But whenever we get together is so push pull. If it's not from me it's from him
I know in order for these relationships to work both parties must learn to love themselves first. And I am now working on that.
How to know the difference between that karmic and false twin relationships?

It's rather plutonic, not twin flame... especially the push pull thing is notorious. It's rather can be soulmate thing especially sun square pluto for example. Soulmate not someone or something goes flawless but teach you something no one could before.

Nope. My Pluto aspects always pull other Pluto aspects and trick us into thinking we are twin flames. I've met too many people that seem meant to be and then I found out they were meant to leave instead lol

No I don't necessarily adopt this concept..... I mean my relationships are already non existent.... Adding the twin flame issue and I will be single forever xD
its just a random concept to give people hope a tell them what they want to hear to sell books. It's not real, I used to think it was but you really can get in a mess thinking someone feels more than they do, your always better not to believe in this concept. And that's the main thing.

extremely interesting relationship,plutonic or not, I think it's very familiar to twin flame relationship if it succeed a breakthrough.
From my experience lately, I came to the realisation of that, my partner and I were mirror of each other. We had a vicious cycle of pull push due hurt each other and love each other phases while the love and bond were very strong. That's made us keep up with the process without breaking up. All of our buttons were pushed to extreme but those periods with full of love and compassion balanced out the ego battle and let hold on to the process. From my side I went through a serious ego breakdown for the better. I think it's takes lots of maturity and emotional strength to pass that stage to eventually letting go things and see the fact that you love that person more than your false ego agenda about how everything supposed to work out based in your selfish point of view. Because at the end is boils down about your expectations how the relationship should look like. Instead just let it be. Once you able to let go, it shines. Your partner as well feels it, and everything becomes smooth. Even there is some argument both of you more aware of the situation and each other role of the mirroring. Wonderful thing. Extremely intense and passionate, sometimes it's so much you have to break away from each other because can not be handled the emotions are overwhelming. When you re apart you can't stop thinking about the other and constantly check on them and they do to you. When you cycle back, all that intense emotions comes out, emotionally, sexually in its fullness.I think this type of relationship is very rare. The twin flame relationships involves lots of pain until recognition of the importance or clarity why they so much want each other. in other words: i am not a believer in such things.
my best friend and i have the best kind of relationship i have ever experienced. our foundation is: mutual respect and trust. we share many things in common; many not; there is no rivalry or envy. we do have bouts of mutual withdrawal; but never with malice intent. we are both busy with work; life etc. that is the furthest i can stretch to call it souly/karmic. but who knows really eh?click to expand
I had soulmate type relationship previously it was almost no argument at all, compassionate relationship. It was nothing like this intensity and madness been through but also this made me growth so rapidly I couldn't believe also the passion is unbearable

For instance sun square pluto is soulmate type contact and challenging obviously but different aspects been challenged and happening associated with.
We have pluto opposition my venus, and my moon also plutonic in my natal and I trine her venus back. Its not the same but interesting aspects if you understand. First 5months absolute harmony lots of love, then things gets deep and you feel so vulnerable like never before. You fully in, nothing kept away from the other and it just deepen and deepen. The potential to loss the other is unbearable, and it start drives up all. Nastiness. Not speaking for days but you both under the intensity you literally can't have a minute of peace no matter if you around the other or not. When the cycle flips its beautiful, fullness in everything, amazing sex but also no intensity drops at all. I know someone been in narcissist -codependent relationship for years, not fun.

My feelings for this guy is still there. No matter what I try to do or what I do to keep myself busy. And nobody I meet i have any connection with.
I've talked to friends to family and I've even considered getting help. I feel hopeless that i cannot let go.
