Quite Frankly .. I see this as being both of you at fault, and your own feelings of being used is your own fault.

You KNEW he was still in a relationship, you even said that you were aware that this supposed breaking up with his woman was strange to you because it wasn't made official. Intuitively .. YOU KNEW.

Whether, his relationship is loveless or not is irrelevant.

He was NOT a single man, he was taken ... and you allowed yourself to develop a relationship with a man who is off limits .... if you slept with him anyway, and got burnt .. it's your own fault.

though, I suppose it doesn't really matter, for while developing a relationship with this man, you already knew that there was a woman being victimized and did it anyway .... so, likely, even if you had found out he was still with her before fucking him, you would have still fucked him.

The one thing he was truthful about, Yes he's in a loveless relationship because NOTHING he's doing or saying to you projects love for his G/F. And if he's doing that to her, believe me he'll do that to you. His relationship status should not be a obstacle for your feelings to develop it should be a big fat GIANT red stop sign! You should be running the other way, why would you follow up that statement he made with a confession that you like him? That's insane

I've never understood & probably never will understand why women, when they see these facts right in front of their face, continue on the course. When a guy says he has a girlfriend, you immediately set up a boundary. He is unavailable, who cares what statement comes after the 1st. He says he's not happy.....who cares, that's not your problem to deal with & it's not your job to change that for him. I think a lot of women have the mentality that if they don't know the G/F they don't owe her the respect of leaving her man alone. FALSE and how about respecting yourself by finding a man who doesn't have to share his time with you & other women. The fact is, your the captain of your own ship, you choose what course to sail & it amazes me that some women will see troubled waters ahead & continue on, THEN when they reach the storm & start taking on water, they're shocked at how it happened!
