Man leaving and returning...

Friends husband who is way better looking than her announced his possible departure from the family.
He said they have to wait on his decision. He had decided to stay. It happened about 6 years ago.
Few weeks ago he said he is leaving and left.
Today he has returned and begging her to take him back.
They are in 50th. 2 grown up children.
Someone asked me - what is he doing?
So what is he doing? Idk
He thinks his looks = personal merit.
Maybe he actually realized that HE is the lucky
one being married to her, instead of HER being
lucky to have married him.

He is a moron! And he will do it again...but of course she will take him back and it will continue until he will be old and nobody will want him!

Maybe he's just really unhappy.. you didn't say how their relationship is like. Is she loving and understanding, do they fight?
It takes a lot for a man at this age to want to leave, I mean women are the first ones who file for divorce but this seems like it's been on his mind for so many years, I feel a little sad for him.
Btw he had been accepted back and I hope he will be greatful!

I was feisty like that when I was younger.
Later in life I had realized I could forgive.
