Since sex got easier to get, love became hard to find. Agree or disagree?

I disagree.
Humans are animals. In animal sense, sex comes first.

When did sex become easier to get? How do you know that?

Never heard of the Internet? You could possibly meet up with a stranger girl to have sex with her right now.

20 years ago, you would have had to wait for the weekend to go out, find a girl who is willing to talk to you and make her horny enough to take her home with you.

If that is your thing though...

TBH there are not that many people doing this, it's a rarer personality than many suggest.

fck 'em. People were fucking like rabbits with each other in Ancient Rome. Raping was normal, having a wife at 16-17 was normal, raping your wife was normal. People were fcking like people, maybe even more than we do now. All these shit (incl my opinion) are mere speculations and you have to be an idiot to think otherwise.

lol

You can't possibly compare modern times with ancient Rome. Raping would get your ass straight to prison nowadys, even sexual harassment.

Lol, im comparing the fact that that people were having sex no matter how and i deduce that its impossible to know whether we do it more often or not (which is the actual topic). The topic isnt to reflect on whether we do it morally better or not, u see? Raping may have been as easy as tinder is today, and for sure wasnt the only way to have sex smile PEOPLE FCK. Thats the reason why you are here.

I am sure the OP never questioned a human's desire to have sex through the millenums. The way I see it she asked whether sex has become easier to get in modern times, comparing the last 10-20-30-40 years. Winking
I had to hide my last post because I went too far off topic.

Sex is now easier to separate from love. We have a culture of casual sex, hookups and friends with benefits.

I don't think that it has changed much as far as love is concerned though. There has always been one night stands, it's just more advertised now.

She actually never asked that. She gave the statement that its easier today (didnt compare to a specific period of time) and asked if that "fact" has an effect on the quest to find love in our opinion.

On the other hand, I think that that's not a fact but a speculation and, without having interest on its possible influence on the quest to find love, i asked why we think that the first part of the statement is true. And you know how it went from there ^^

Do you really think she cares whether people fucked their brains out 2000 years ago knowing there were no to little human rights in ancient times compared to now? I don't get why you would even start debating with me whether people like to fuck as much as they did in acient times? ^^

Dude, i didnt ask you specifically. you decided to respond to my question with stuff that are irrelevant and you are asking me why i started debating with you? For real? I dont know if she cares or not but IMHO the statement she gave is essential to the question she asked and, by trying to dissect it, im trying to reach a more objective (presumably) answer to her question.

So why dont you let her decide for herself whether or not she sees anything constructive in my question? If she doesn't, she may ignore it, which you could've done as easily.

I wont continue the debate with you tho smile

I just interpret her question differently.

Men looking for sex. Women looking for love. Some meet in the middle and make it work. A story as old as time smile
This won.

Females: sex has always been easy to get. Love has always been hard to get because females use sex in place of love, so they don't put the right energy out there to find love.

Men: sex has always been hard to get, however, since millennial women have less morals, and severely lack in common sense, men can now get a lot of sex without any expectations placed on them. so, now, it is easier to get. Why should they look for love? The milk is free, and it's everywhere.

It's not a matter of love being harder to get ..... it's just not a requirement for men with these younger women. They fuck the men without any terms or conditions, so men don't HAVE to love them.

so they don't .. they take the kitty and run

why not? If women wanted love, then they would present themselves as such. If they present themselves as being available for a fwb, then that is what they will get.

Love isn't hard to find. You just have to have some integrity to get it.

Exactly! My uncle told me in his youth him and my father were well of financially and all they could get were prostitutes and they were looking for ladies to date and have sex with but it wasn't possible because decent women were not putting out unless you married them!

Sexual revolution changed that completely and casual sex was born!

I don't know if anyone remember when living together was looked like a deadly sin and woman in this kind of cituation was viewed as a low class person?

No idiot. She means 'one'. English isn't her first language. It's pretty obvious.
I meant one. And I am pretty much well versed in English as you or any other westerner. Thank you.

If you're just as well versed in English as any westerner, then why did you type "won" when you meant "one"

typos don't happen like that .. a typo would be if you accidently hit the key next to it, like ...

wne or tne or wbe or wme or ont or onw or if you have your fingers on the wrong keys entirely

but to type a completely different word that sounds the same, is not a typo .. it's an error in grammar.

So, it's ok to say "ooops, I meant one" but, to say, "well versed in English as you or any other westerner" is just plain hogwash.

you can't even admit being in error .. you have to lie to save face?

You cannot even manage being a human and being in error?

Disagree. Sex is an important part of romantic love, and vice versa.

What made love harder to find is the advent of social media/online dating. To love someone is a choice. Why settle for the boy next door when you have the entire male population at your fingertips?
Posted by Bloop
I disagree.
totally !

Feels like TRUE, that's why I am avoiding SEX for True Love smile

Disagree. I don't believe it increased nor decreased. Nor do I believe love became difficult to find. I believe they have both become more accessible via socal media outlets. If you think back before social media became rampant, the intent of sex and love still existed. It was just time consuming because in order to get to know someone's wants and desires you needed to invest time with that person before it became known. However, technology has allowed one to literally skim through a person's wants and desires via their profiles without investing ample time. So while it may seem as if there are many profiles to sift through, time has been dramatically reduced simultaneously. One is an exchange for the other.
Speak for yourself, sex is infinitely hard to get....love is SO EASY...
Some women have no boundaries, are scared to ask for and get what they want so enter into the ridiculous arrangement of FWB hoping the man will start to feel deeply for her and then love her...

....of course that rarely happens

Sex is as easy to get as walking into a shop and buying a chocolate bar

Love isn't

Raising your standards is the key

*~*~*~*

Both are easy or hard... depends on where you stand and how you see it all.

As for me, both are easy to find..

I needn't explain about sex being easy

As for love, IDK.. I believe there's love in everyone/in all animals/plants/everything.

Firstly, I would like to ask, how can we think that what we see - that is, our perception of what is, is the only truth?

I am strong believer that all people have love in their hearts - everyone. I trust this.

I don't agree that love is in only those persons, when they express it actively, in ways that is perceivable or rather palatable to us - in our limited senses/perceptions. It is in everyone.

It's called a brain typo....you think "one" but the phoenetical twin "won" comes to mind in that fraction of a second....
