Aren't relationships nowadays like the Hunger Games? lol

Everyone slaughtering & hurting each other like they're evil fools with no morals, when all they really want is love/to be loved?!

*So many women home-wrecking when all they really want is their own man to call their own!
*So many men screwing 1000 females when all the problem really was is that they can't get over the 1st girl that hurt him
*So many commitment-phobes leading people on & disappearing on them when things get serious all b/c their real problem is that they fear intimacy so hard b/c they inwardly want it so bad!
*So many women clawing at each other & turning on each other all b/c somebody tried to help their stupid azz by putting them on notice that they're being played
*So many men eyeing another man's woman when all he really wants is his own eye-candy
*All these poor women/men using sex & their own bodies as a sacrifice when what they REALLY want is someone to love them for who they are on the inside
*So many women/men stooping to all-time lows to get revenge on the people who have hurt them when all they really wanted was to be loved & for the pain to go away!
*All these women/men settling for horrible people/horrible relationships when all they really want is to be loved the right way
*All these men/women abusing their partners when the real problem is that someone abused them. And when all the real problem is that they want someone who will never leave them!
*All these evil people in the world who are only evil b/c they lacked love in some kind of way (love from parents, peers, family, relationships, childhood, etc.)

Love is like a f'ing slaughter house nowadays! By the time you finally do find real love, you've probably been pimped, played, stepped on & dragged through the mud 100 times 1st! And ironically the people who hurt you the most are probably the ones who are the most desperate to find someone to love, like, accept & treat them right!

The irony!

Relax people! We're all just squirrels trying to get a nut, at the end of the day! All everybody wants at the end of the day is to be accepted, respected, cherished & loved! Ironically, people have some F'd up ways of going about getting that! lmao

Hunger Games are only played if someone allows them to play... in that movie people are made to play that game... if you want to play a game it implies more then one person has to play...

Remember you are always in control of your life... unless you allow other people and their emotions to control you...

I challenge you and anyone that reads this to not play these games because that is when you will find the one you are looking for... you have to be ready and know what you want... if you are not ready to settle down then do what you must... but don't let anyone drag you down or drag another down with you...

Start with that ^^^ issue right there. If you accept, respect, cherish and love yourself, the desperate need to get this from others dwindles away pretty damn quickly, and so do the insignificant dysfunctional peeps hungry to steal it from you.

@LetitB: Wrong! I guess you missed the memo that I am a Psychologist. Simply knowing that there is evil out there in the world b/c people have come into your office & told you horror stories does not mean that you yourself are evil or possess those horror stories within yourself. Huge difference

Actually, I surround myself around very positive people. All of my real friends are optimists & are mostly happily married or happy in love/relationships. Not to mention, I am happily married & have been happily married for a long time!

But that doesn't change the fact that I'm aware that some aren't so lucky in love. Acting like these crazy things aren't happening every single day doesn't change the fact that they ARE happening every single day! Simply being aware of the dramas some people face is completely different than having/seeking drama for yourself!

So wait, I'm wrong when I say that all people want is just love, happiness & peace?! Wouldn't you disagreeing with that statement imply that YOU are more the pessimists than I am? lol

I'm wrong when I say that some people have some F'd up ways of going about getting those things? Wow, you must not be paying attention. Divorce statistics can attest to that! Infidelity statistics can attest to that! The number of people in prison for committing crimes of passion can attest to that! The number of people who get on THIS very site complaining about how dirty someone did/is doing them can attest to that! All the people who have ever had a rough childhood b/c they were abandoned, witnessed abuse, or experienced their parents treating each other like crap, can attest to that!

To simply be aware that these things are happening is just that: Being aware. Being aware or realistic doesn't reflect what your own personal life is like!

And if you've really read some of my other posts, you know that I'm constantly trying to encourage others to love themselves 1st, before trying to love someone else! I am ALWAYS preaching to listen to your gut, be honest with yourself & be your OWN best friend 1st before expecting others to do all of that work for you! PAY ATTENTION
