You & your current/future partner a work in progress or the full package?

So ladies & gentlemen, when it comes to romance between yourself & your current/future partner;

Do you see yourself and or your current/future partner a work in progress or the full package; as an individual and a couple?

What do I mean by a work in progress? Is the persons in question have qualities that need more experience/maturing? such as personality, career, education background, attractiveness, good dresser, etc.

What do I mean by the full package? Is the persons in question have qualities that need no improvements, such as personality, career, education background, attractiveness, good dresser, etc.

I have always believed that an individual no matter stage or age in their life, will always be a work in progress or they'll stagnate. And it would be unacceptable to expect others to change/evolve and for the self to be stubborn and not change/evolve.

What are your thoughts?
We are all works in progress.

It's not about the final product, it's about experiencing the journey together.
Our relationship is damn near perfect, but we have lots of growing in our outside life to be working on; career, house, increasing credit, taking care of our kids...etc.

That was actually nice to read. I needed that.
In my current relationship, we are both working on ourselves. We are at different points in our lives.. I have a lot more catching up to do in terms of adult stuff. But I'm trying and he makes me want to try. I feel motivated to have a good life together.
