I had just got rid of one. Almost drove me into the grave. lol
One woman said her husband after 40 years in business said he is going to write a book
where every page will say DON'T Do IT Don't do it! Don't do it!
Invest your time in education and find a good company that will pay you.
I will tell more later.
Don't do it!![]()

Posted by brandypThis is the stage I'm in. Has your dad been successful with selling on Amazon?
My sag dad just launched a new business. Hes selling products on amazon as well as some personal sites. It has been in the works since last year october but he has been slow and afraid to invest the money ( this is his first business)
He has gotten super irritated and anxious every step of the way. Any time he comes against a problem, he blows it up and exaggerates it more than what it is. I think he likes being his own boss, but then all the pressure is on him and I know he feels that.
Posted by arose32Good luck!! Sounds like you put a lot of work in.
Well I've been working on this since 2010.. Really. I taught myself pretty much everything and it's just now happening.
Get organized. Ignore distractions... For real. You got it ... And I start December 14th... So I don't know but it's levels to this. And I'm working to be a millionaire. So of course it'll be pressure.. But it depends on the level you trying to get to. Small business or corporate level?
Posted by mzmeeAgree 100% with your last line. Working in corporate killed my soul a bit tbh.
I'm a Sag and I own a boutique. I love fashion and I love people so this works just fine for me. I spent almost 5 years online and at libraries learning about the ins and outs of owing a business just to be sure I was on the right page every step of the way before investing.
I've worked for other people, currently still is as a back up plan, I feel like my work ethic and sacrifices, employers take for granted. I'd rather invest that energy towards my own business.
Posted by sagiluvThank you! Good luck with your biz!
I'm sag I've had my own biz for 4years + now! Being my own boss is awesome!! Best choice I ever made plus we're just lucky people ... Money flows to us easily. ? Plus we have a killer personality & great brains... I think you should go for it!!! We are fearless & that's our strength
Posted by SunMoonStarsFor sure. I mean it's a lot of work... A lot of work. But idk. It's worth it when you're the boss.Posted by arose32

Small biz, I just escaped the corporate chains. Other option is franchise something that works well for the big bucks. Whatever I can do that doesn't require me to be 9-5 for the next 35 years!click to expand
