DON—T KNOW WHEATHER I—M COMING OR GOING

Okay before I start, let me just say yes a month ago I was dating a Cancer, that's over it was only 2 months and if he's smart he??ll keep his distance. Yes last week I made a post about a Cap that I thought was cute, but he let it slip on IG that he might have girl, now I don't like him either. So please don't ask me, —Didn't you like a Cancer— OR —I thought you liked a Cap??. UGH, I'm single??_no ring on my finger, and I'm a Libra social butterfly. My last real true relationship was over 2 yrs ago. Everyone else are just people I like.Now that we got that out the way. I??ve been talking to this Sagg guy on and off. We met in like the middle of July. He just turned 24 yesterday, and I turned 25 this past September. The Sagg claims he really REALLY likes me. Says he talks about me to everyone, blah blah.

Anyway, I??ll try to shorten this. We have good conversation, chemistry is there, the bond is there, and he's very blunt and honest about almost everything. ALMOST. I say almost because he knows that I'm not trying to be physical with anyone unless I'm in a real serious relationship. We almost came close to sex abt 3x..I noticed I was starting to really like him so I asked him once if he was looking for a relationship, flat out. He said —No, that he was just chilling and enjoying my company, and he really likes me.?? So at that point I stopped contacting him. Like 3 weeks went by and he came after me, went up to my sister job claiming he lost his phone and he needed my number. My sister gave it to him and at that point he proceeded to pour out how much he really likes me. In my mind I'm like now he's trying a different angle. He claimed he was ready for a relationship. (all of a sudden). I reminded him that just a few weeks ago he was signing a different tune, so what's with the change of heart. He claimed he didn't remember saying it. He smokes, but I doubt he was high at the moment because he opened his eyes wide and looked me dead in my eye that other night when he said it, so I felt he was lying about not remembering. He knew damn well he said it, he just didn't expect it to cause me to walk, so now he's changing it up.

The other night he swore sex was not his angle. Told me all about his sexual ways through high school and middle school, and how sex is not as important to him anymore. Told me about the way he used to do girls and I will admit he seemed sincere while he was talking.

. He admitted that he hadn't planned on being in a real relationship for another year when he turns 25, but he wants to give it a shot with me. Says there's something about me, and he knows I'm a excellent woman and he doesn't want to pass me up. Says he can be a really good boyfriend. He had me until he switched again midway through the convo and said, he just had some stuff he wanted to get out his system before age 25. I'm like then how are you ready to be in a relationship right now at 24— He goes, I mean I will try it with you. I'm sorry but it didn't sit well with me. I want the guy I'm with to be sure I'm what he wants, and to be ready like me. I don't want him to force himself to be ready, then 3-4 months in regretting it and try to break up, or worse cheat on me. I told him this, and by the end of the night he was saying we will take it one step at a time and build it the right way. He seems distant now though, again. Any insight on this? Or where his head may be at?

I should also add, that we haven't been out on a real date since we first met. I??ve tried multiple times, but he always gets busy or something comes up on his end, but the weird part is if I invite him over, or I agree to come to his house, he somehow manages to keep the date, and things tend get really physical. These are other reasons I find it hard to believe he's had a change of heart about a relationship. I think if I would??ve accepted I would??ve eventually gotten hurt.

Thanks. I just tried to follow my instincts for the first time. I??ve had encounter with a guy were I went along with the —relationship?? knowing I didn't know him that well, and that we probably should??ve dated more and spent more time with one another and made sure we were what one another wanted before slapping titles, instead of wasting each other??s time and someone ending up hurt. (Mainly me.) I really like this sagg though; I just hope he can understand. He openly admitted he has been pushing me away that's why he doesn't make the dates and stuff, because he says he knows if he starts something with me it needs to be for real, and no b.s. He said it makes him nervous, because he hadn't planned on providing that type of relationship until he was at least 25. I want him physically too, I just don't want to get up thinking like —Okay, now what.?? I know I will because I'm not the type of person that can get up with my feelings. I already really truly like him, and I'm hoping we can be something special one day, but if I lay down with him before spending any real time with him, or going out on dates and really getting to know him, I'm going to feel like I cheated myself when we get up. I just know it.

Your instincts serve you well and he's already shown you what will happen...his mutability. He wants a relationship because of the ole fire sign impulse and pursuit of a sudden goal. But it's also about follow through. Why push you away? It demonstrates that he may not truly be ready and will pursue a "commitment" on his own time and terms. He may really like you and is sincere about his views but that doesn't mean a thing until he actually puts actions behind his words and backs it up on a continual basis. Him willing to come over your house or you his but no date was an attempt at sex_—

Ha, you are right. I am still really good friends with a lot of my ex??s. I don't see any reason to have bad blood with them since I'm over them. That's the way my mind works.

Now, me and this sagg have never had sex. We've come close a few times but it's never happened. I have refrained from having sex with him on purpose because I know I'm at place where I want more than some casual sexual encounter, so to your suggestion to just keep him for sex I??ll pass. I prefer to just keep him as someone to talk to and hang out with. He can have sex with others. I prefer not to. He knows how I feel about sex, so he's calmed down on trying. At least I think he has, lol. I'm no fool. Sagg men are very clever. Promising the moon and the stars if that's what it takes, hence him promising this glorius and excellent relationship, but in the same sentence telling me he has things he wanted to get out of his system before being a serious relationship ---__---. If I hadn't dealt with two Sagittarian men before him it might??ve went over my head, and I??d have a boyfriend right now. However, due to the fact I know their tendency to promise without producing I will keep my distance emotionally until I'm certain he's ready for what I'm ready for.
