I have clingy cancer placements, but after my ex I kind of went crazy because he was the only guy besides 2 more while I was in high school/part of college...didn't really get a chance to date.
Now minus 2, all guys I was at least dating. I tried to do the fwb thing and I couldn't do it, I ended up wanting a relationship...never have or would do a 1 night stand etc. these were guys I wanted to be with, dated, and it didn't work...or bfs. I hate raising my number.

I always wanted it to work with 90% of the men I slept with and felt really bad, slutty for having my number go up for "no reason." Sometimes I would even stay with guys because I had sex with them! If I had a regular sex partner, I would call up old familars so I wouldn't have to add new or worry.
For some reason, if a guy has a large number...they are a stud. If a girl has more than a certain amount, like a handful, she's a slut? What?
I had to talk my bf out of this mentality. We have the same number. He went "no you aren't bad for a girl" as have the same number! He goes "but I'm a guy...a girl can open her legs for anyone but if a guy gets with a girl it's harder, he's a stud" I bitch slapped him with my fury.
He was raised strict catholic and his mom instilled and was ok with it, very sexist social norms. He didn't know and better. She even called a female friend of his a whore because she was wearing short shorts in the summer. His parents were eachothers 1sts, she was upset he wasnt Tim TiVo and had drank and etc. she knows he has a gf but she doesn't want to hear about it because she thinks it's distracting from school...he doesn't tell her when he sees me (they are visiting) as that would raise too many questions, she had said "not Christian like" when he mentioned staying over before. He's 24!

But views like that with double standards really frustrate me. Since I've been with him and am working off the brain washing from his mother, he doesn't have them as much. Parenting can have a big impact!

naw. 1 major quasi no good boyfriend in my 31 years, we were together for 3 years but i wanted to break up during the last 2. no one believes me but i just dont to be with any ol body.

As for the sex partners? I view it as the past. I believe I??m mature enough to handle it. My wife and I are in our 40??s, we??re partied out. No regrets.
But when you??re young, go have fun, go out and party. You??ll never be 21 again.

i feel the same muff. everyone has a past and i wouldnt hold it against them. HOWEVER, the people who arent even in the relationship have more of an issue with it that the two people in the relationship.
