Sag men, a question ...

Do you share your whole life story with someone you've just met (or have known for a very short time)? Things you have never told anyone else?

I tend to do that. It's part honesty and part looking for a deep intellectual conversation. We like to share our experiences and learn about others' experiences as well. It's how we connect.

Why would you do that with someone you've just met, rather than someone you've known most of your life?

It all depends. I've gotten some of the most insight from complete strangers after I've told them about my life. The only situation where I haven't told someone I knew about how I felt is when I knew they wouldn't understand. This comes after I've done it a few times with them with the same result. With me having a few Scorp bits, I'm a little more sensitive to repeated blows to my feelings.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Whether its a stranger or someone we know, opening up takes courage and shouldn't be overlooked in any instance. Especially opening up to someone who has hurt us before. Which planets do we have in common?

Oops, I just rechecked my chart. I thought I had Mercury and Venus in Sag, but my Mercury is Scorp, my Moon, Venus and Mars are Sag. Never mind what I said about sharing a lot of planets in common. *embarrassed grin*

The Sag I'm in interested has a Leo moon, like you. He's got me all tied up in knots. I can usually figure someone out very easily, but he has been a little more difficult for me to figure out. He has told me (and fairly quickly) that he loves me and that he is working towards a future, in which he sees me as a part of, but then he has disappeared for quite some time (not just from me but from people that depend upon him), and I know his job is extremely high stress and high tech, and ... Men.

I see. Its not just a Leo moon, we all have a sense of responsibility and duty. It may seem like disappearing but its just us pursuing our goals. Plus, he is probably stressed out and needs time to himself to sort things through. He should say when he needs space but I wouldn't knock him for it.

Relax a little and let it flow _??_We always know when to come home_??

LOL - You do realize you are talking to a Scorp? Relaxing isn't exactly a trait we have when it comes to the one we have decided to make the object of our desire. 😉 But, I'm trying. He's just an incredible man, intelligent, thoughtful (most of the time). And damn, what I could do to him ...

I have tried to understand the birth charts but cant grasp it yet. What are the main things i should be looking for in my sags chart. We have a lot of positive aspects on our compatibility chart.

@caraboo: I remember you mentioned being a Scorp. It's hard and I have some I understanding given my chart. Sometimes you just surrender _— a d you're welcome...anytime!_??_

You should look at a couple of things. Yours/his Venus/Mars compatability and it works in both directions. Your moon/moon or moon/sun relationship. Mercury also for communication. Check into your houses I can't remember which one is for relationships lol. Also your ascendants.

He did tell me after our first conversation that he was amazed at how easy it went. If I recall correctly, he said something like, "I am surprised at how easy it is to talk with you. I don't remember the last time I had a stress-free conversation, in which there was absolutely no pretense, no pressure, no feeling someone out. You have a wicked sense of humor and are absolutely fearless (no topic is off-topic and you are completely at ease with any topic). You intrigue me, in a very delicious way." All of our conversations just seemed to flow so naturally and we both could say whatever we wanted to say without fear of the other judging us or without having to censor our thoughts. It was very refreshing to me. With a lot of Sag in my chart, I do tend to just say things at times without thinking how it might sound to someone else and rather shocking things at that, but with him, it was astounding. And he was continuing to open up to me, to express things he'd never told anyone else (and I know this because if people he knew had known these things about him, let's just say they probably would not have remained friends for long - especially our mutual friend that he has known 40+ years and is very judgmental). And then he disappeared, the brat! It's hard to hang on to something when it's not there to hang on to. 😢 But I'm trying!

Look at your Venus and Mars compatibility. That is the only thing that I can remember. Other than that, beautifulsoul made some wonderful suggestions for other things to look for in the charts. And good luck with your guy!

lol - Surrender is a four letter word to a Scorpio. But I believe this guy is worth it. It's just when I see what I want, in my opinion, why wait? Just go for it. If it is true that all we have is just this life, then make the most of it while you can. And if we have more than just this life, then make this one memorable. Patience is a virtue, the ubiquitous "they" say, however, patience can also hold one back when action ought be taken when the opportunity presents itself. One can be patient and wait themselves to the death, and by then it is too late to take any action.

The dude is into horoscopes (majorly) and has my birth time and has already checked me out on that end, so I'm trying to figure him out in the same way. The only Sag I knew was broken, and I don't want to go by that. (Besides, I figured my original post was WAY too long for anyone to read, and decided to condense it.) lol

Thanks Sut3, but we're writing a book together, so I don't think he's going to disappear completely and never be seen again. 😉

quick learner on condensing and sticking to the facts of your posts. most saggis have the attention span of a fruit loop. lol

LOL - I love fruit loops! This Sag, however, oy vay! The length of his emails were like 5 pages front and back, single spaced, no paragraphs, of a word document. I guess I was used to writing to him and didn't think about condensing my post originally. lol But have learned, keep it short, sweet, and to the point.

Errrrm ditto. Me Scorp/Virgo/Pisces with strong Saggi dominance. New interest: Cap/Unknown/Scorp with noticeable Saggi "placements" (unknown where). First day went so incredibly astoundingly well. Bugger disappeared too! It's been almost a week but not quite. I'm antsy. Dagnabit.

I will Draumstafir. However, I have been thinking today about just letting go of this guy. The last time I heard from him was two weeks ago, when he told me he would be in touch within a day and would explain what was going on and that after that we could start moving forward to progress. Prior to that, it had been a couple of days and he was telling me what the wanted me to do to work on our book, requesting that I send him some files of the resources I had gathered, so that he could get the agent to get the abstracts together. Prior to that, it had been the beginning of July when he got in touch with me to let me know why he had not been in touch in June, basically telling me that he had essentially had a nervous breakdown, that he knew it was coming and had ignored it, because he had been working 14 hour days, 7 days a week, for the past 18 months without a break, and that the stress had been too much for him, and that since he never appears "unstable" and since he had decided that he and I would remain in contact, and would work toward a future together, that it was important that I not see him that way. So, since May, our communication has been very sporadic, almost non-existent. I understand that he works hard, but his work involves him being at the computer, and an occasional email to let me know he is still there, would take less than 5 minutes of his time. I don't know why he bothered to tell me he loves me, that he's working towards a future with me, and then act as though he could care less about spending any time with me.

The lesson learned, not learned, and is to be learned. You can have the best compatability but if two people aren't mature enough it won't work. Thank you for that. Ive pulled back a little from him because of my feels for him run deep. He noticed that i have not been as talkative as before. He keeps asking whats wrong and i finally told him that i caught feelings but affraid of being hurt. He didnt give a response.

He's much like you and its hard for him to express his feelings. Give him time.

@Caraboo: I agree wholeheartedly! We do only have one life and I'm not going to waste it. Sadly, I see so many waste theirs trying to make a round peg fit into a square hole lol.

Exactly! I figure if someone wants to be with me, then they'll be with me. If they don't, they won't. I spent too many years married to the wrong man, begging for scraps of affection and attention, and I've sworn to myself that I will never waste another moment begging for attention and/or affection again. Life is too short to waste moments being miserable.

Couldn't agree more

Yes, every sag men I have ever dated or talk to has told me their life story that first day, and then I tell them nothing and they think I am secretive. I am a scorp so I don't work that way it takes a lot of trust in a person for me to tell them things, not sure about the other signs.
