What does a Sag mean by this?

So here's the deal.

I have recently gotten to know a Sag guy personally and after a few months he cut me off with the message that I'm "living out in my mental horizontal plane of existence" and that he only wants to align with people who live more in the present. I have said I prefer us to keep our own perspectives but he seemed to have a huge opinion on how I "lived in my mind". Who can offer some insight in this philosophical mess? Lol

I'm utterly confused and just want some answers if I never meet him again. Best if this is answered by a Sag who is into New Age thinking.

Btw, this Sag is a particularly self-righteous and opinionated one. Even my other Sag pals says so after they've had a glimpse of our conversations. He seems very set that he has the "absolute truth" and called me closed off to learning in general after I said I'll see if his book recommendation would work for me. This is after we had an argument with me resisting his advice and "wisdom" coz I'm not really into his beliefs on a broad level. I just don't get what's wrong.

Even the most intelligent, sophisticated, spiritually enlightened Sags are full of shyt 99% of the time. He would laugh at you trying to solve the riddle he threw your way, simply because he needed an excuse to stop seeing you. At the root, he probably just feels disrespected by the fact that you don't worship him and/or is/has been looking elsewhere.

I can't really tell over texts but I think he means it when he says he's 'not seeking to convince anyone', or maybe he's just being passive aggressive. Anyway, what sign are you? Seems like you've had quite some experiences with Sags.

Scorp, mostly Aries though. Believe it or not I like Sags. Just high and being too blunt. I just think they are sophists though - really slick with words, can bullshyt their way into or out of any situation, and often do. The ones I know are major players too. The best players I know. It would be hard to be a Sag and not use those gifts, especially when you are super attractive like pretty much every Sag I know is. Gemini seems to get all the credit on the verbal/mental versatility, but Sags are very similar, and so competitive. I love to argue with Sags. I love any person who loves to argue like I do, and can do so without taking it personally. I do agree that they are natural philosophers.

Wow always love the piercing insight of Scorps. I personally have some Gemini, I can totally testify to what you say. This Sag is pretty verbal and all that jazz. I guess I can say I've been lucky meeting one who isn't a player; this is a Picky Sag who actually stayed through long term relationships, just with an uncommonly large ego. I guess you can't have it all. I love debates but can't take advice well, especially unwarranted advice that is expected to be followed. That's the Cap in me, always logical and don't take bullbutter in ounces. We are sensitive despite the cold demeanor.

hmmm this is almost exactly the same as what I was thinking except in a much more expressive/emotional manner lol

but you gotta give em credit for the riddle part lmao

remember OP Sags are philosophical but they dont know that

its only from acknowledging them that they exist

like a unicorn

and i dont mean that as an insult to Sags

yeah most Sags will screen you kinda like a Scorp then they will play with you.

Once you play the game they get super confident and try to leave you before you even notice.

If youre fast and clever enough to leave the game with them then they start getting serious.

Huh these guys really have super superiority complexes. For the life of me this one did screen me, got cold after a month until I got things up to heat again then we really started talking. Well, yeah, very egotistical but let some of that inferiority slip through face to face. They will definitely try to get you to like them, for sure.

Yeah that's not what he said from all the way. Right from the get go he acknowledges my intelligence and quick brain. But I guess for the Sags there is a thing called 'spiritually dumb'. Whatevs.
