Question About Saturn Placements

This topic was created in the Saturn forum by DreadWitch on Thursday, February 4, 2021 and has 16 replies.
Hi, new member here! I've been aware of this forum and have occasionally lurked the first couple of years I was studying astrology. I'm posting now because I've found myself stuck in life and I've been going over my natal chart for years trying figure out what's keeping me from progressing.

So! My question is: How do you go about living life with a Pisces Sun, Mars, and Saturn all in the 5th House? The Sun and Mars are conjunct while there are no hard aspects to Saturn.
Action is what's keeping you from progressing. You can be a dreamer, but in order to progress, get up and have a solid plan of action.

Astrology won't help you with this. You don't need to wait around to see what progressions or transits you're going through.

Make a move.

That much Pisces and in the 5th house? You are stick in your head aren't you?

My gut says your focusing on the wrong parts of your chart too. It's happened to me to, where I over looked a linchpin aspect related to what I'm dealing with, because I was not truely objective. That is one of the traps in reading your own chart. So you have to focus less on your chart and more on seeing and feeling what is infront of you and around you in real life.

Decide what you want to create in your life and go do it.

Also what is your Pluto and does it make any aspects?

Taking action has been a problem of mine in the past (due to not knowing my purpose), but I know what to do with my life now and I've been taking steps towards it for almost three years, but I still haven't gotten anywhere.

Is Saturn conjunct your Mars?
Nope, just Saturn sextile Capricorn Neptune and trine with Cancer Midheaven.

"Stuck in my head" is indeed how I would describe myself! Yeah, I know how easy it is to fixate on a singular placement/aspect which is why I now go through the whole chart when I'm having trouble.

I know what I want to do and I'm acting on it, I just want to do more to move the journey along. My Pluto is in Sagittarius and in the 2nd House (the House itself is ruled by Scorpio). Pluto is square with my Sun/Mars and sextile with Aquarius Uranus.

I mean, I can't say what you are doing to take steps towards what you want to do, but it's been 3 years and you have no results? Time to switch up your tactics and tackle it from another angle.

There is something you are not doing. This is what you need to work on. Even if you have ideas, but can't get them off the ground, google ways to start these businesses, google information on whatever you are dreaming about.

I don't understand being stalled and not accomplishing things, especially when you set your mind to it. You have to carve out your own way.

Interesting you ask, my sister asked me the same thing the week before. My passions are psychology and art, but I'm in the slow process of starting my counseling business and my art skills aren't good enough for commission work.

My dreams of making a living through my passions have been put on hold for the past three years while I've been doing the "realistic" thing by applying to every kind of job in order to get to that point. The failure to even acquire a job that I hate is what keeps leading me back to my original question.

The point of creation and expression isn't money.

It's fair to say if you can gain resource through it for everyday nessesities it's a plus.

When ones primal and materialists desires no longer satisfies oneself. All that is left is things that feed the soul.

...Okay, I don't know what that means, but I've never been financially independent so "materialistic desires no longer satisfies oneself" isn't even a place I've reached yet.

On top of that, I don't understand investing time and energy into anything that doesn't build towards something of substance.

Sorry, honestly I was in a mood when I wrote that and having trouble putting it into words. So you got that mess.

Do you have what you need and a little extra for the future? The idea is to not have to worry about basic needs so a person can focus on and be able to have more flexibility in other areas of life. Money is a tool and resource. When you said your art skills is not good for commission work that is what popped in my head. The idea you may be neglecting something you enjoy and have passion for because of finances.

As I see it, we are all going to die one day, so best to try and make the best if it.

You said you felt stuck in life. Which I doubt. More like lack of passion in life. Passion is a need beyond the biological needs of food, water, shelter, procreation and companionship. In life when that is missing, people feel, lost, melancholy/depression, and intellectuals say "stuck".

Does all that make more sense?

No, I don't have the basics because I'm broke and no, it doesn't make sense. There is no "make the best of it" when you don't have an income. You can't even "discover your passions" without needing to pay for materials/workshops. If art and psychology (which I've studied for 8 years) aren't my passions, then I have no idea what a "passion" is. What would you define as a "passion"?

No need. This is just a miscommunication somewhere between us. That takes passion to do what you are doing. That's a lot of work and focus to do that. With that in mind, my next question would be are you feeling overwhelmed, worked or maybe a tad burned out? Do you need a distraction/break/vacation to recharge your batteries so to speak?

Because, as admirable as it is, VERY FEW people can put that much dedication into something and not feel a little wariness. Perhaps you need a distraction/break/vacation to recharge your batteries or some kind of support that will aid you in pursuing this?

ATM your 4th house is going through a major transit. With that in mind I'm wondering about your home life. A place where some of us see/use as a break from work and career.

no that is it. You need NETWORK. Immerse yourself in the profession with other people in the same field/business in your personal life. Make friends or whatever floats your boat. The current transits are Aquarius. That is friends, community, and society. It would only be natural for something to pop up to make what you want a reality in that kind of circumstances.

People grossly under estimate the effects of the people around you.

In this context you ..You can't expect to go to the pool without getting wet... For better or worse.

Go to the right pools and go get wet.
