effective?
I'm thinking of getting one.
I hear it's wise to get one equipped with some sort of VG-2 or Spectre cloaking. But I wonder how many states are using that tech?
Most states it's actually legal to use radar detectors with the exception of Virginia and DC. There are a few states where it's illegal to use laser jammers.
My biggest question is getting the detector with VG-2 and full Spectre protection and if they are even effective. That kind of technology seems to rely on other cars on the road being clocked to pick up the signal before your ass is caught. Better than nothing I suppose. I've used a friends radar detector before. It's helped. I just dont remember all the feature on his.
Get the top of the line Escort. If you have a lead foot it will pay for itself multiple times/year. Remember with a jammer that if no one else is on the road, you're guilty by default.
no i wont get a jammer
eee... i speed... aaaaalll the time. one, because i always have. and two... now especially, i work with docs in surgery and many times ... it is an emergency! lol it's actually a miracle i dont have more speeding tickets. plus, i'm constantly on the road. full tank every two or three days and my car is good miles to the gallon of gas.
500 hundred... dayum.
what about cobra?
It's worth the money. Trust me. Big Grin
oh Stoic lol
actually it's legal in most states. there are only a handful where laser detectors are illegal. that's about it.
and i can't drive the speed limit. it eats at my soul. i dont even drive the speed limit when cops are behind me. 5 over, as a rule, always. i honestly feel like i'm more likely to get pulled over driving the posted speed limit. lol
those are the most complete i've ever seen/read your sentences.
i feel speshal
