So people, what form does attraction take for you?.
Personally for me, a good hearty debate/argument mixed with wit will always do it for me..I will instantly become attracted to that person. If it arouses the passion and tentilates the mind, I want it. The person may not necessarily be good looking.
What does it for you and why?

I like people who are flexible/bendy .. physical, I'm talking.
It's very arousing to see a person who can work those joints and contort.

Of course, it could just be because I'm with a Virgo, and so just missing a person who isn't rigid.

SL: Of course looks are a bonus but only if accompanied by a super sharp mind and an argumentative streak...some sappy gorgeous guy does nothing for me..cos usually he turns out to be a wet fish anyway!...can't stand em..

I know!!! I can't stand it either. I let a guy take me out on my birthday back in my 20's his name was Tobias, he told me that when he look in the mirror he is just so fine... I made him take me home and I never spoke to him again. The bad part about it was he was not that good looking. LOL

Gutsy, different... intelligence and a stimulating conversation is good. MmMM I like a good debate, gets me riled.
Nice body is a plus. If I'm spending all this time to make myself look good, you best be too!
Basically, someone that is well-rounded

Preferrably tall, intense, confident, intelligent, witty, and just have that little je ne se qua! Nice bod, doesn't have to be perfect but nice. Has to have a sense of humor. The rest will either fall in place or not.

Medium build, Cute, but not flashy, not too tall or skinny (I like a meaty meal).
To break the ice: Eye contact - YES.... sense of humor, has to be witty and love to crack jokes. Not be to serious, only at work.
The rest comes afterwards.... ;}

"The most important thing has to be the intelligence factor. I dont know why, but if I think I'm smarter than you, I probably wont find myself attracted to you. Its weird."
I feel the same way! I want to be mentally challenged/stimulated. Except he can't be a know-it-all who's just "book smart" I want someone who is worldly and can teach me new things about life in general. Someone who can make me laugh but isn't a complete goofball. A man who is good with his hands and knows how to fix/build thing is a major turn-on. :-)
My height or taller, with a nice build, a little "more to love" is ok. Can't be someone who is obsessed with his body/looks though (don't spend more time looking in the miror than I do). Good hygene, smels nice, nice teeth, don't have to be perfectly straight (gaps are cute) but they must be white. Thick eyebrows/eyelashes, nice lips...oh and a deep voice!
CONFIDENCE CONFIDENCE CONFIDENCE is the most important thing without a doubt!!!!!

So people, what form does attraction take for you?.
The first time I meet a woman:
1. The Figure - I react most strongly to curves. Women who are shaped like teenage boys, or tomatoes turn me off.
2. The Hair - women with long dark hair get my attention.
3. The Eyes - color isn't as important as Energy & Honesty.
After we start talking:
1. Eye Contact - a little shy glance away is okay, but if she can't make eye contact, what's she got to hide??
2. Wit & Wisdom - a woman who can make me laugh, or carry her own in a serious conversation is very attractive to me.
It's true Ladies: Some of us guys really do like to talk to you - as long as it's not a lecture or a bitch session. I gotta give some well-deserved credit to Southern Women: Even if they're talking about things I really have no interest in, they can be so sweet, sincere, and enthusiastic that I'll listen anyway...

"I am beyond picky...Of all the guys I've met, only one has lived up to my standards, my Aries of course...It was his intelligence, how laid-back he is, and how silly he is (not to mention, he is super hot ) "
Well of course he's an Aries. We live up to everyone's standards and then some
.
"Looks count for something, for me. I like it when guys are about 6 ft, not too much less and not much more and are athletic in build."
Hell yeah it does! I'm 5'4 so I like a guy between 6'0 and 6'3-6'4ish. I had a 6'3 once, I love it
. Oh yea and hate the skinny jeans too. I need a man

I wish I could post a pic of my booboo. He's fine as shyt!
I am usually attracted to very dark complexions. Defined features, such as eyes and jawline do it for me. Sturdy necks (sounds weird, I know). I love the V-shape. Muscular is not necessary, but I can't do skinny cuz I might accidentally break their fragile frames.
Men are beautiful.

A person who can make me laugh always gets my full attention.
I'm attracted to men that I cant figure out initially. For me its not about "what you see is what you get" I need to know there are layers and layers of "self" to explore. If I can sum you up after one date or conversation I ususally swim away. I need to dig deep and pull my mate out from the inside, that is what I find attractive.

Munchkins and tall men irk the hell out of me and most tall women (5'7 and above). Waist of his height!
"I wish I could post a pic of my booboo. He's fine as shyt!"
Who is this booboo you speak of SS?? WIll I approve!!?!
As for myself I agree with MsP; I find it very hard to be attracted to someone whom I think is less smart than me, even with looks, etc. A person who is not so good looking but intelligent will win out...its intimidating, but I cant get enough of it...mmmmmmm.
Physically: TALL, not skinny but not fat. I do like a meaty man, not beefy muscular. Strong back arms and legs, no jailhouse physique please. If your going to work out dont forget to do your legs men! A manly man is nice. I dont want you prettier than me (although thats very difficult to achieve
). I like the look of facial hair (depending on the guy and groom) but I dont like how it feels on my skin. I dont like chest hair or back hair, gross. Signed Up:

Well it seems a lot of people commented on physical attributes...You see..physical is important but in the long run that is not what sustains a relationship..not for me anyway.
If I was talking about the physical attributes then well he has to be tall, I may be a 5ft 2 but all the men I have dated have been either 6ft or over..tallest being 6ft 4..but thats just too tall..a man who takes pride in his appearance (dresses well) and plays sport (I sooo want to watch a game with him and to wash his sports whites), a man who has a really nice laugh..a soothing but manly voice and yes a man who can put me in my place..that turns me on more than anything..Oh and I have a thing about nice hands and wrist..
LOL @ Dou2ble...at least you are honest...
SS..so you are with a virgo too?!..lol..must be scorpio/virgo season..my current beau is Virgo..but with his mars in scorpio and leo rising..he can be such an arrogant/stubborn tosser but I do like him..LOL..It works for me..very affectionate, very caring, workaholic and then some, but oh boy, you step out of line and you're gonna know about it!..we just had an argument this morning..but he's all about sorting it out there and then..Who said virgo's weren't passionate?!..ahem!..well I will give that to his venus and mars in Scorpio..anyways..lol..moving on..am happy for you sweets..weeeeeeee...Hope it all works out superfab!

"Not sure if you guys were being sarcastic but either way I'm glad I finally learned. I wasted a lot of good years chasing tail that wasn't worth it and missed out on some good women cause I never took the time to get to know them. My x wife was hot and for some stupid reason I thought that was a good foundation."
Im sooo proud you've realized this at the age of 28, because many of your male counterparts NEVER do. Or they do realize, but in practice they just can't do it.
On the flip side:
You really cant help it if your not attracted to the women who are supposed to be good for you (marrying the marriage material women instead of the one your passionate for)...thats a whole other tragedy in and of its self. But its great when you can find an all in one so to speak.

lol..keep the blogs coming..it's all good..I need cheering up. London is cold, wet and dreary..on top of that we all had a "team event" last night for work..started at 2pm was meant to finish at 5pm but us hardcore drinkers decided to stay back for a few...it got to 11pm, after several beers, champagne, shorts and wine later I couldn't actually stand up any longer..Who was left behind?, 2 X scorpios, 1 x Leo, 1 X sagitarius...we had such a blast..but then the taxi home cost me a bomb..oh man..that will teach me not to drink on a school night!!...
So needless to say I had a sore head this morning and didn't speak to anyone during the day..cold and just wanted to curl up and sleep...was tempted to go to the sick bay (sounds very star trek lol)..but I didn't..5pm I bolted out of the door and now in my bed...ahhhh good times..
My baby is not here to cuddle me either..waaaaaaaah...
