What are we doing?
We are successfully not communicating. A fast stop.
Btw, now that you have made my avi so large by posting it in this thread I am even further enamored by the pic. It is more difficult to take myself seriously though, with such a silly pic. This is good no? Or should I change it to something more mundane? That allows me to be fun and serious as the mood strikes?

Actually, FW, and don't take this wrong, but it may surprise you that this thread wasn't about you at all.
It was about the bird itself. Or shall I say, a fraud believed by many people.
The videos illustrate what I say below.
You see, Americans have this patriotic love that has gone so far that Hollywood pulled a fast one on the
people leading them to think that the Bald Eagle's scream was so majestic and fitting, when in factual reality, it is really that of the Red Tailed Hawk.
Think of it as an eye-opening Factoid that I simply wanted to share - A lesson for ALL Americans is being presented by the birds themselves: Be not so proud that you love a lie and hate the Truth.
You can read up more on the fraud here:

Awwwww... another cute pic Monty. smile
Mr.F ... Love a Lie and Hate the Truth... well isn't that a profound spin on a silly avi. I do not mind at all that this thread is not about me and think you have given me something to consider. I do not like fraud in any way shape or form.
I did not consider my Avi to be surprised by the truth. My perception of it was more along the lines of feigned innocence. Maybe some mischief was in the works... that type of thing.
Wynter, it's an NDN thing.

I think you misunderstood. the fraud wasn't referring to the avi.
Hey...! wait a minute!!!!
Do you have ANY Gemini aspects in you?????
I realize the fraud was not referring to the Avi, and insinuating I have Gemini aspects in me is fightin' words! Lol How insulting! (I should reallllly check my chart first before I post this)
I was simply pointing out that you thought the expression on the Eagle in my Avi indicated surprise at finding out a truth whereas I felt the expression indicated mischief. You follow me?
It served more than one purpose, me thinks. Big Grin
I think it did too Monty, and I agree PS, it is a very adorable Eagle.
I think I will keep it for just a bit longer...

From the US American perspective, they are both.
You have Gemini in the 11th house. Shame on you!
You need to throw that Gemini and her house out of your solar system.
It's just not right.

I don't know. You might have to throw the whole thing away. - I know...
I told Arielle that Scorpio Sun Pisces Moon was terminal. She got mad too.
that's usually most people's first response.

Ahahaha... I kill me.Laughing
There you go, that's all the planetary boo boos I can give you.

"House IX 5??39' Gemini
The Ninth House is the sphere of high studies, both physical and mental journeys (philosophy, spirituality), rebelliousness, changes of scenery, desire for dealing with the unknown. It is in analogy with Sagittarius and Jupiter. It is a cadent house, less important than the angular and succedent ones.
Interpretation of the 17?? Gemini symbolic degree
"A fox runs as fast as it can, apparently to compete with an arrow shot by an invisible hand." (Janduz version)
Swift, shrewd, and inventive character driven by high ideals and endowed with strong persuasion powers. A host of good ideas continuously jostle together in the mind and must be sorted out in order to discriminate between what is essential and what is incidental. Furthermore, good common sense must be developed, and concrete objectives must be clearly identified, lest talents and skills are lost in the twists and turns of an intellect working at full throttle."
I sure hope your satisfied.
PS, there are LOT more than two people who are mad at me.

Moon,
I killed a SW Diamondback rattler when I was almost 12 years old.
It presented a threat and I cut it's head clean off.
The body wriggled for hours till around some time after sundown.
Some say, the snake's spirit was trying to leave the body.
I never had any snake experience before that or since. Even after a million miles behind the wheel, OTR.
I see that clip and I am taken back to my deed. It's surreal.

We always have lots of ratters here in CA and I've killed plenty. I was probably 12 or so when I killed my first one, too. Shovel to cut off the head works great. Have also had to stone a few to death while hiking. It's a pity because I do think they're pretty in their own way. I like reptiles but the venomous ones get a healthy dose of respect from me. The mountain king snake I have a knack for finding or coming across. They're lovely! Same color as coral snakes but the pattern is different in color sequence.
Ummmmmmm..... ok well my sweet lovely SisterFromAnotherMother, you never MENtioned any rattlers when we went hiking up in those mountains... O:o
Also what's with all the user hidden messages?
I wonder the chaos if I used a chicken for my next Avi? Lol

So summed up what you are saying is that you are a difficult, weird and restless geek that moves around a lot because the neighbors want to hang you?
That's what I read.
I don't even want to start on the second paragraph.... ! Whew, out with all your appendages I would say. Poor guy. Crying
My Gemini in the 11th house looks Much Better Now.Laughing

Moon is right, you do have a warped sense of haha, but we are mostly all warped here so I don't really see an issue with this. smile
Here's the thing
Americans (us citizens) have this obscene amount of pride.
The point of my post was to point this fact concerning the Eagle and the Red Tailed Hawk out to my fellow Americans.
Particularly those of the the hardcore Redneck or the Hell's Angels variety. - Note: Harley Davidson sells
"dress-up" hardware for their motorcycles - it's called "Screamin' Eagle" with the Bald Eagle and all.
Nowadays a lot of Harley parts are made.... guess where... China. So much for your patriotism.
Anyway, IF this bit of the bird becoming the national symbol is quite curious in a most tragically laughable way.
The "Emperor's New Clothes" moral comes to mind.
It's a lesson to lay for the learnin'.
A grain of sand.

A lessin for the lay! Jesus. You are full of yourself. What did the bald eagle ever do to you? Id pick an eagle over a hawk anyday though id rather it picked me.

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." - Arthur Schopenhauer
Spaghettisauce,
The Truth will make you mad.
You have been taught to blindly worship of a bird. The bird doesn't care about you nor anyone else. Never did.
At this time, you attack the messenger and not take the time to consider the message as to whether it be self evident.
There is a difference between a bird and a man - a man can teach you more in one day than that bird can
teach you in a life-time. - unless you can say, to quote Wynter.... "gobble-gobble"?
Can you say "gobble-gobble"? I am sure you can but ask yourself put Who those words into your mouth?
Was it not your own government? - I thought we were supposed to be a free-thinking people
FREE as the Eagle.

*Who put those words in your mouth.

- Repeating the insanity of our mothers and fathers only made us insane.

Oh lord. Ill take my lessons from nature, thank you Mr.

That lesson, found on page 1, WAS from nature.
Listen to what this guy says: "Let's get a little bit closer. I don't want him to attack us"

And you can learn something from a truck driver.
Where the eagles are gathered, there, the carcass will be.
