why do we always have to know? cant we just stay in a fog of confusion? how come i just cant leave well enough alone?
i always have to get to the bottom of something even when i know the outcome is not going to be great. is it truly a good thing to know everything? like a German Sheppard sniffing out a hiding criminal, we find out everything.
sometimes i hate being in the know. i hate my BS radar. i want to be stupid and dumb and live in a constant honeymoon phase. i want to accept anything anyone gives me. i dont want to second guess anyone. i want the wool pulled over my eyes.

If i don't like something about a situation i'm in or about a particular person, i switch off to them totally. i ignore them completely and utterly and in doing so become ignorant of the situation or person in question and they cease to affect me.

you gut feels something. do you listen? do you sometimes wish you hadnt? i envy Neptunian people sometimes.

like a light switch perhaps? i get this way 2. instantaneous. one minute this person is around this affectionate woman and the next minute, ice princess has entered the building.

i can honestly say i've never snooped on anyone in my whole entire life. it scares me too much cos i think if your gut instinct is telling you to find out more about someone, it's almost certainly something you're best off not knowing and i wouldn't want to be with someone i mistrusted to that extent.

merc in sag ive noticed will attempt to change the subject on me especially if im hot on a trail. they will try to incite laughter to get me to stop.
majority of the time, its curiosity. other times, i smell something funky and i have to fish it out.
i did give this person ample opportunity to just come clean. i even gave myself opportunity to separate my intuition from paranoia. whoa there paranoia, whoa there. but the alarms were sounding.
you know things go way south for you when the next word out of my mouth is either "who, what, why, where" and there is no laughing, no smiling, just straight question, stare, answer, stare.

if i trust my partner, there is no snooping, no line of questioning, nada. if i dont trust you, i will ask you so many questions it will make your head spin.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong. I don't hide anything from someone who comes to my face and asks me what they want to know. Sit me down or whatever and ask me point blank in a simple question what you want, and i'll answer.
but go snooping around (really starting to hate that word, btw...) behind my back or like him, do it plain sight without letting me know what you're after, and i'll clam up! I'll be as elusive as can be (venus/mars in pisces) because i won't trust your method of investigation...

i ve always thought that tauris are far worse than counterparts. people "expect" things from a scorpio, no one ever sees a tauri coming because theyre ruled by venus and its the planet of love. tauris have horns just like scorpios have stingers.

Stupidity would be self-sabotage.
Ignorance is simply being unaware, unfamiliar and not knowing.
To some degree, no one and yet everyone can be faulted for being ignorant.
Intuition encourages one to investigate, hence "Follow your intuition"
Sometimes, the problem people have is going too deep into knowledge.
So much so, that knowledge can give birth to confusion.
As you grow older, you begin to observe that you're continually learning.
One can be "narrow minded" or focused, or they can be "broadminded" and clouded.
The best recourse appears to be "Everything In Moderation" as the practical solution.
Now, Wisdom and Foolishness.
The wise know how to discern what is important and what is not. But, on the other hand,
the fool does not and will suffer until he/she learns to seek and practice wisdom.
Wisdom protects, foolishness destroys.
Wisdom is closer to the spirit than it is to the carnal.
Following your intuition is partially wisdom, but at times may seem foolish until proven wise
as there are occasions for chance.

This must be a scorp moon thing or something. I've never seen the expression "ignorance is bliss" for a Scorpio. I guess it comes down to what kind of person one is. If it makes one happy to live in a fantasy that's fake? or would a person rather have reality where knowledge is power for growth? Some people take the easy/lazy way out to avoid reality, yet know they shouldn't. I don't have much respect for people like that. The end result is always a victim story as a result of the choice made yet they don't want to take responsibility either. Sad

No, it's good, you don't sound harsh. I don't know where the person who first came out with the expression "ignorance is bliss", was coming from saying that but in the state we are in right now, most of us do wrong by not knowing, having been conditioned to do wrong almost instinctively now. So In the state we are in now, ignorance can not be bliss, because one needs to have at least basic awareness of the state we're in and the state we need to be in. The state we need to be in to me is to be in touch with your divinity, in sync with nature, humanity and the rest of the universe. Knowledge is required to bring it to where it needs to be.

Is it because as a deep feeling person you may believe that if you just didn't know, If you just didn't analyze like a scorp, you may be more blissful? I think his empathy and judgement bring him to that conclusion.

To me, an extreme of version this would be a woman who is in an abusive relationship, yet denies it, and continues to love him. But isn't that in denial?
I have moon in Virgin, and i feel like one of my best deflections is ignorance.
What is ignorance? Is it a defensive mechanism to avoid confrontation? Is it a defensive mechanism to avoid awkward sensitive personal problems? Is it a good mechanism to block out things that aren't a main priority, so you can focus on main priorities like yourself and your own problems? Is it a technique used to stretch out, elongate, draw out a situation which you love so dearly (i.e. boyfriend), but at the same time secretly knowing it's bad for you whilst at the same also time also knowing that your manipulated purposeful extension of this unhealthy situation is only going to exacerbate things? Who knows.
