Confessions of an Emo

I hate flowers and I hate the sun.
My hobbies include sulking, crying in the rain, and writing poetry near a stormy cloud.
I hate animals too. Some people like to pet dogs. I'd rather kick them instead.
I like to roll around in dripping blood that falls out of my open-wounded wrists so that I cleanse myself.
I was touched too much as a boy and not enough as a man.
My favourite food is black liqourish because it's the only food as black as my soul.
I say poetic things like, "Everyone who dies is born". I know it makes no sense... But people think it's deep.
I went to a school in the suburbs where there were no blacks or gangs. As soon as I realised that I decided my only choice was to be an emo.
Black isn't my favorite color. But my mom is washing the whites today.

LOL* ...actually, i've never heard the term EMO either, til recently. Didn't it used to be called Goth. Same dress, different party? EMO "sounds" sesame-streetish, rather childish. Like 'ELMO".. Unless Goth is more for the serious minded and mature, which is the impression i get. *Why change a good thing. The term 'EMO' i just can't take seriously..lol
