Dark Tourism

Although I am obviously a Virgo I would like to know if Scorpios in particular are interested in "Dark Tourism" as might be expected (and as I am). For those who don't know, Dark Tourism means visiting places where terrible things have happened, such as Chernobyl. I would like to visit Chernobyl myself, also for example a Russian city named Dzerzhinsk which is notorious as possibly the world's most polluted city: this is because for many years it has been Russia's main producer of chemicals (including many poisonous/toxic/lethal ones) and as usual in Russia safety procedures are/have been basic to non-existent. In particular, there is in Dzerzhinsk a large lake of dumped liquid chemicals known as "the white sea", and plenty of other chemical waste just dumped randomly around. Not surprisingly perhaps average life expectancy in Dzerzhinsk is 42 for men and 49 for women. I would also like to visit the village of Oymyakon (also in Russia) which is the world's coldest inhabited place. By the way, although I am not a Scorpio I do have Sun conjunction Pluto so maybe that accounts for these interests!

i have virgo rising and my pluto and sun are in scorp....i find 'dark tourism' fascinating. i've been to hiroshima and auschwitz and went on a tour of jack the ripper territory in london. only by going to those kind of places do you get a real sense of what happened there. chernobyl must've been interesting. since i've had kids i've kept to more traditional beach holidays lol.

Closer to home (here in England) I am also tempted to visit the city of Gloucester (about 150 miles away from where I live) because of Fred West. For those of you who don't know, Fred West was a mass-murderer and mass-rapist from Gloucester who was finally caught in the 1990s but what he had been doing had been going on for years, and included raping and murdering one of his own daughters and burying her in his garden: he had also murdered many previous lovers and his wife was a prostitute (which he encouraged) and god knows what else. The actual house (25 Cromwell Street) has now been demolished but it would be interesting to see the geographic context of where all this happened.

I just read about him and his wife, "Rose" .... she seems to be just as depraved as him, and during her prostitution career (which Fred West got to watch) ... she regularly fucked her own father.

I don't know about Scorpio(s), but this Scorpio would be game. I'm not too interested in the place mentioned in the OP, but the idea in general.
