Feeling Distant? Feeling Ignored?

Dammit, Ladies, PLEASE BE PATIENT with us Scorpio Men!
It's NOT you, it's the unexplainable BS we are FORCED to live with.
We are born in the worst sign a man has to contend with.
Something, no other sign could possibly understand, yet endure.

VERY true. Patience is KEY with Scorps....After a while you just get used to them (& the withdrawing). Just maximize on the space to get your own important stuff done..cuz when they comeback, it'll be time to INTENSELY focus again. In the beginning, when "finding the rhythm" for your Scorp, things seem usually a little shaky because you've gotten so used to the patterns from a previous relationship with someone else. But when dealing with a Scorp, you have to STOP, RESET, RE-Learn and REDO everything. Because they are NOT your average, typical, vanilla, cookie-cutter lover.
Prepare to be -CONSUMED.
My Scorp is has been a little withdrawn these past few days, I don't think anything of it, I know he's recently been stressed about somethings. So when it gets quiet I send him probably one text, saying:"I miss you"..or "Hope you're doing well"... THAT's It. I don't ask questions, I don't start drama, nor do I COMPLICATE. Life and Scorpios are already complex enough. No need to add anymore complexities into the pot.
So with that, as I was writing this, I got a text from him, saying:
...."You're the one that makes me happy. ..Miss u.."
..Cool. smile

its hard to be patient with a scorpio man, when they wont let us in to their world. we see your suffering, we want to help...but we can only help if we are welcomed. its hard to be patient while witnessing suffering and wanting to help

IT may be hard , but sometimes, you have to LET them go through their hardships on their own. Their pride/ego won't allow it. Every problem has a solution, but its not necessarily a Scorps mate's job to provide them. Be a -silent- moral support. He'll appreciate you more fore allowing him to find the answers.

^^ taurus belle...thats a good perspective
and i like that text he made with your reply. most scorpios i know are never open with their emotions like that
my scorpio ex never told me he missed me, but i would have appreciated some reciprocation. i think when a guy tells you he misses you, its like hes giving you the world. maybe im just simple lol

Thanks. smile
...yea his heartfelt expressions wouldn't be coming from his Merc in Scorp (gives him Prickly Sarcasm, & wit)
I think its a combo of his Cancer or Taurus Rising(??) (don't remember which) along with his Venus in Libra that might be what pushes him to express his feelings.
But I'm with you...the simple things MATTER.
SOOO very much.

Sorry, Firebird, didn't mean to let you have it.
Hit a nerve.
I thought I was being patient. Was just trying to understand.

No ma'am, to be perfectly honest, you had nothing to do with this post, part of the thread's title is
purely coincidental. the "patience" part, if also coincidental would be a double coincidence.
No biggie, no fear, ok? Winking
It just so happens that my experience with wimmin (hillbilly speak) hasn't been the most fortunate.
NO ma'am, I ain't no fortunate son.

I think it's technically be harder to be a Cancer or Pisces Man, if we're going by Sun alone.
Cancer = Ruled by the moon(feminine planet) and a feminine sign.
Pisces = Ruled by Neptune and a feminine sign(some say feminine planet, others say neutral or masculine, so it depends). However, Pisces also has Jupiter, which I *think* is traditionally masculine. So even Pisces gets a break.
Scorpio = Ruled by Mars(masculine) and/or Pluto(neutral, but case could be made for masculine)
So technically, Cancer men has the most natural astrological evidence and opposition to inherently contend with.

I disagree.
Nothin' worse than this business of die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth.... are we having fun yet?.., die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth, die, rebirth......
People talk about karma and reincarnation. I sometimes wonder if I've lived a thousand lives in a single lifetime.
Add to that concept: The Black Moon Lilith. In Cancer, no less. That lousy broad that suggests I was cruel and
killed women and children in my last life and laughs in this one, sayin "HA, HA! You evil bastard! You'll never have it easy with the women!"
Plus: Moon In Pisces - That's the one where you can see the dead. So says Ellesque, who blocked me because, in her words "he doesn't make any sense". (I blame that Black Moon woman)
Plus: Life path #9 - this is the one that suggests I am supposed to save the world.
Plus: 666 is hidden in my name.
I wonder, sometimes.

This is about scorpions but this is really applicable to men as a whole. Every thread talks about the guys bing distant, has no one read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus?

That being said, men creating distance, or the "rubber band effect" is normal for most all men. I think that since Scorpios tend to be creatures of extremes though, this trait is more pronounced.
Also, IME, Scorpio (men at least) tend to go from what the author calls Stage 1 (Attraction) straight to Stages 3 and 4 (Exclusivity and Intimacy, respectively) and initially skip Stage 2 (Uncertainty).
Hesitance is expected at the outset of dating someone new, but after you both have made it official, it can sting or hurt when the person who's been your BF/GF for xx amount of time suddenly gets cold feet and decides to step back.
I think it is the timing of the distance act, more so than the act itself, that people come here complaining about.

YES! This definitely describes how things kicked off with my Scorp. We didn't even have "THE TALK"..Its like in his mind, he's thinking "I GOTTA HAVE HER,... I MUST GET HER,..-SHE'S MINE."..The man views me as his possession I kid you not, and I like it..
I won't lie though..I definitely was in that "HESITATION" stage, for a minute but I kept it to myself. The long distance between us helped alot when it came to that too, because he's not able to zero in on my fear, he only knows what I tell him. The distance forces things to slow things down, so that my feelings can catch up to his intensity level. The Hesitance still lingers for me, but it will probably go away when he comes closer to me... We'll see.
The rubberband effect IS a killer though, it definitely has one thinking in circles..
but I like NOVEMBERSun's idea..:SNIP-SNIP!!
