i wanna make you smile

this is something that seems to be often part of a man's chat-up. so often in fact, i now have a complex about coming across like a miserable bitch!! you hear it when walking past leering men too....'cheer up babe' or 'give us a smile'.

i heard something years ago. i think it was some feminist writer like germaine greer that said that men said this to women cos it makes them submissive.

what do you think.

btw...i do smile and i often laugh and i've damn well got the lines to prove it, LOL.

If i say that i genuinely mean it

most men say this sincerely,its a sense of accomplishment to see our lady smile,it means were doing our job in a sense.As a rule,if your happy then we in return are happy...it makes our everyday life easier in every area...now if you meet a guy at the pub for 20 seconds and he uses this,and he don't even know what your sincere smile looks like.....Well...I think you get it.

A woman he loves he wants her to smile as much as possible,sincerely of course..we wouldn't do some of the dumb shit we do if we did not want to see you happy..were simple 🙂

well, someone i really liked said it to me a while back and all they did was make me cry 😢

i think if it's said in passing, it's kinda like the guy wants confirmation that his 'compliment' which preceded the 'let's see you smile'...ie something like 'look at the ass on THAT'...really made your day.
