Well, that's not really where I want to go with this...but the thread came from this post:

It is truly a lighter version of hell outside----D*MN IT it's hot!!!!

I walk by the neighbourhood kids, I'm sure they are outside because either their homes are hotter inside than out or their parents said "go play outside!" Interesting, I see no play. No double dutch, no hop scotch, no water fights or tag. All I see are cell phones.

*sigh* I am so glad I had a electronic-free childhood.

So, I would like to know dear Scorps (Sun, Moon, Mars), what type of mischief did you get into when you were a child playing with your friends (or alone if that was your thing)? What are your funny, "scary", "close brush with the law" stories that you don't mind sharing?

Okay, two stories comes to mind:

Story #1
Everyday we had to cross a crosswalk on our way to school and we would terrorize the crossing guard by running against the light just to hear her freak out. I think we gave this woman several mini heart attacks the way we would jump into traffic. We would just stick out our tongues and run away. I feel bad now....geeze, that wasn't the goal with this thread...

Story #2
When I was in grade six we use to play this game called "British". It was sort of a rite of passage because only the grade six students could play ("bully rules"). If you don't know how it's played: One person stands in the middle of a large field while everyone waits on one side. The person in the field yells "British" and we all run across to the other side. The person must tackle someone to make them a part of his/her team. You keep tackling people until there is one person standing. We were quite rough as kids. I remember a few kids losing a few teeth.

Anyway, I was pretty good at this game because I quite agile. There was this one guy that would always try to take me out. He made it his mission to tackle me, but he just couldn't do it. Every girl in grade six had a crush on him, so did I, but it took me a while to warm up to him, I wasn't sure why at the time (he was a Scorp ). Well there was this one girl that thought she was the sh*t and planned to kiss him at our Valentine's Day dance. Rumour had it, he never kissed a girl before. One day we were playing and she was watching from the sideline (apparently she was too delicate to play). She was cheering for him to take me out, so I decided to give a good chase and right before hitting the safe zone I slowed down, stopped and he rammed into me. While we were on the floor I kissed him smack on the lips. When we got up I looked at the princess and smiled.

Things n stuff lol
One thing I will say is when a friend and I would walk home from school, this is around the age of 9-11, there was a house near the top of the road where we'd always blast the football against the wall where this miserable dude lived (we used to do it unintentionally until he came screaming out of the house one day chucking a massive wobbly fit)... One time he followed me home and tried ranting at my Mum but Leo that she is in return she rained hell fire back at him and sent him scuttling off with his tail between his legs.😄
I think I might've stood behind my Mum and smiled smugly too and yes we did kick the ball against his house after that happened.>🙂

LOL!

We did the whole run up and bang the hell out of someone's door then run off. I remember when a bunch of kids did that to me when I was older. It scared the hell out of me and made me spill a drink all over my lap! I guess it was payback.

LOL! These are all great stories. Elle's hitchhiking story reminds me of a time when my girlfriends (Pisces and Taurus I've mentioned before) came with me to see an older guy I was "checking" (..."checking"....geeze) and he offered us a ride home. We accepted and climb into the car; my girl's in the back and I'm in the passenger seat. He drives off abruptly straight into a nearby alley where there are two other cars and a van. My girlfriends freak! "Um...uh...this isn't the way to our place you know"....I quietly search my pocket and put my keys between my fingers ready to take out his eyes, praying that my girls will haul a** when they get out.

He looks at me and says he'll be right back and gets out.

"What the f*ck did you get us into?! Who is this guy? I'm too cute to be a prostitute!!! Oh my God!!!! Do you have something to take that f*cker out?!!"

The back of the van opens and there is a whole bunch of clothes, bags and shoes. The guy did a little street hustle and wanted to purchase some goods. The cars just happened to be there. LOL!

My Scorpio guy friend went to a great school and lived in a very well to do area. Once, he robbed his neighbour's house while they were on vacation... then sold all of the goods out of his basement.

He would also steal cars for fun and set them on fire. One time we stopped at a gas station and he went in to get something. I decide to put some gas in my tank and get out to grab the pump, when he comes running out saying, "Drive! Drive! He had robbed the place.

Those are just the one's off the top of my head. You'd never guess his naughty behaviour by the life he lived the last time I saw him. I'm sure he gets/got it in somewhere. One thing I learned from him... Don't be fooled by surface appearances.

my younger scorp sister and i STILL try to get into mischief. she's 23 so she... ehhh... can kinda get away with it, but i have no excuse at 30.

we like to break into abandoned buildings and spelunk the empty rooms. lol

when we were kids we'd camp in our backyard and go run around the neighborhood after midnight in our pjs, then jump into random yards whenever cars drove by and tried to pretend we were lawn gnomes.

ridiculous imaginations. but damnit we always went out and made it happen.

we applied to apple picking jobs once because we both got it in our heads that it would be really FUN to frolic beautiful orchards in knitted sweaters and have those basket harnesses like in Cider House Rules.

we built a huge igloo in my grandparents backyard that could fit 12 people in it. took us all day. we were drenched by the time we were done and sat in it for 5 minutes staring at each other shivering LOLOLOLOL
