Is it typical of Scorpio men to try to dominate?

Is it typical of Scorpio men to try to dominate the woman they're interested in? There's this Scorpio man I'm attracted to, we are not dating yet just getting to know each other. He's very nice, respectful and acts like a gentleman but at times I see hints that he may have a bad temper. Sometimes it seems as if he's trying to dominate me in the way he talks to me (the tone of his voice), like he's mad or doesn't have patience. I don't know how to explain it...kind of like the way your father would talk to you when you misbehaved.

Well he can spank me but I don't like it when he talks to me that way, it feels weird like I'm beneath him.

Can you give me an example? Give me a situational dialogue.

For example when he introduced himself to me, he asked what my name was but I didn't hear him because I was listening to my Ipod so I said "huh?" and removed the earphones then he repeated himself but in an impatient almost angry tone. So I told him my name and then he introduced himself to me with a handshake and a smile.
