Is it wise to give up on A Mysterious Scorpio Girl after several refusals?

I'm a Virgo and I've fallen for a Scorpio Girl who's very mysterious.She's a junior from my college and she acts quite cold with me. I've the reputation of being a heartthrob around my college for past 4 years and so many of her classmates and seniors have crush on me. But this girl since her arrival doesn't even bother who I'm. Though she added me on facebook on her own,but that was it. We barely stumbled across at campus,though I always waited for opportunity.Then after being played by mother nature I couldn't but knock her directly and asked her out. She agreed and met me. The first day was quite amazing though I had to call her even after the given time as she didn't show up in time. Second day was not bad as well. But since then she started to ignore.Short replies.Close ended replies. Asked her out again and got refused. I waited for a month. Then she started to give signs again like reacting to my posts and statuses right after I posted them and no matter whatever those posts were about.Kept poking me.I thought may be she wants again.I started to chat again. She responded very nicely.And after four days of chatting,the key topic from her side was "I am getting bored in vacation,I have nothing to do,No companion at all,need to spend good time". So I was sure of what she wants.I arranged many things for a nice outing and called her to ask out.And guess what?She refused to come.It's hurting me very much.I've not been in a love relationship for last 4 years.I wanted someone magical to come and I felt like this is her. But That's how she pays me back. What to do? Is it wise to never give up?

Does she even like me at all! It's eating me from inside.I believe that I truly have feelings for her.
