yay!
at last i am earning euros again working for this english investment house writing their 'interesting' investment reports on various countries - i've done croatia and turkey this week and i just started montenegro before the weekend
yeah, it sounds soooo anal. PERFECT!! i LOVE this job. great company, great people and interesting job content.
downside - dress code. omg - corporate business attire. like.......what IS that?? and more to the point, what is that in spain exactly?? i think i went a little over the top on friday cos someone said i looked like sara palin which cheered me up no end - not. (i think it was the hair up and glasses that did it).
anyhow. i've been so exhausted that i've not been able to log on much. scorpio-rising has not stopped celebrating i imagine LOL!
fact is. i'm busy and important and i have executive stress already. so make it quick cos time is money ok?
oh yeah. in the 'office code of conduct' it lists what clothes you aren't allowed to wear. things like sweaters? what's wrong with them??? every top should have a collar? excuse me?
but. there is no mention of hair. i checked the small print before i dyed my hair dark blue.

Can you wear those short, pencil-skirts ??? I would love to wear those I know my bosses would have a fit but I may come in there dressed like those ladies off of Melrose Place

i have some GREAT clothes actually. thank FUCK for the 80s revival i say LOL! (ahem, late 80s actually) i just had to take out some super-huge shoulder pads and i was bang on trend!! friday's outfit was a knee length charcoal grey skirt, good fit, with a split on the right front panel and a black shirt in this pleated affect? i had a 3 quarter length black pinstripe coat and long high heeled boots

actually, md, i work with a fellow scorp girl and she was joking about how un-cordinated she is. she's pretty and smart and really funny but she chooses some odd colours to mix together which she quite freely jokes about. there are 6 people on my desk and only one is a guy (canadian) - and they are a great bunch to work with. for once, the writers are appreciated in a marketing department too. i'm sooooo excited to be back on the career ladder.
