Just wondering..

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but..

..is the scorpio (or scorpio influenced) man's way of seduction to ignore, tease, irritate and provoke the object of affection until their mind holds nothing but the image of the perpetrator?
Also, to evoke emotional response and reaction in a woman by blowing hot and cold, showing devoted attention and yet withdrawing once they get a response? And exerting control most of the time?

..if yes, thank you. If it's otherwise, please explain. I'd love to hear it. 🙂

Also, is a persistent shroud of mystery a trapping weapon, or is it a natural response to attraction to someone? I'm wondering about the scorpio or scorpio influenced (8th house) man in particular.

The men can be that way. Me being a scorp myself have found a way to calm those annoying habits down a little. Point them out when he is controlling and subtly and nice let him know "you aint havin it" LOL... They don't like to seem controling so that normally works. Yes they are controling and jealous and can pull away when they know they really like you.

Hot and cold, yup... Again when they know they really like you and aren't sure about how you feel about them or if they want to be in a relationship at the time or not.

Scorps in general, give our hearts when we are sure that we are the primary object of the other persons desires and love.

P-Angel, the thing is I'm not even sure because he is very mysterious and subtle. I'm not sure he's fooling with my head for the fun of it.

He's an 8th houser, and I think this makes the subtlety and mystery a notch higher, because he doesn't have the raw directness of a sun sign scorp. His sun, venus, mercury, pluto, saturn are in the 8th, and tightly conjunct, except mercury. Considering pluto is the natural ruler of scorpio, pluto in the 8th is a very potent place to be. Venus and sun in the 8th makes him basically a scorpio.

Queenscorpio, that really sounds like him. I guess I got it slightly spot on. I used to be worried because it sounds like a dating disaster out of the manuals, and I was going slightly insane, but then all I needed to know was if it was a characteristic of the sign. I got it now.

Cap, that thought has gone through my head millions of times, but in the end we're still together. He's not violent with me, and what I wrote was an exaggerated, condensed form of what I feel he is doing. I'm not sure it will end or improve, but I guess I am somewhat like what I wrote about him as well, I just don't see it.

He does this to show me he cares (or so I think), and usually because I doubt him and try to move off. And my heart is already trapped 😢 or 🙂, depends .. Lol.

I think you explained him better than I could because you identify with him. I have the moon in the 8th - that is my only 8th house planet - which, by chance is my guiding planet, so it is particularly strong.

Yes, he is frightened of himself. He is a very powerful person, a very deep, intense, wise, healing soul. But as you said, he's still in the midst of escaping from himself and his natural abilities. He's not even in the healing profession!

The thing is, I was afraid he'll destroy me in his quest (you know, as the sacrificial lamb..), but I appreciate him truly, in the good times we have.

Spica is located at longitude 23 degrees libra, however, and I sort of took to that.
I'm not much into fixed stars, but I do know the discrepancy btw it being in virgo and libra.

However, either way is fine, as I have a virgo moon, and identify with the Alpha Virginis somewhat.
