Did anyone see Katy Perry laying into her school bully at one of her concerts? She actually spotted a guy who used to tease her in school in the crowd at one of her concerts. She called him out and then start flinging all kinds of insults at him. She even dedicated a song called You're So Gay to him while the crowd soaked it all up. She made me proud to be a Scorpio woman because I have done similar stuff to people who were mean to me and I happened to run into. Katy got serious revenge on this guy.

Katy has grown up into a very successful singer who is living out her dream and seems very happy about her life. He, on the other hand, is till in the same town they grew upo in, about to marry his high school sweetheart( how boring that sounds.) Katy has moved on because she's about to marry someone else. Katy is now a world tour enjoying herself and planning a wedding, and her classmate is set to marry someone else. Neither of them is talking about this anymore. As a matter of fact, I saw this morning on tv at a fashion show and she was saying how excited she was to be planning her bachelorette party and wedding. It's not like Katy tracked this guy down and killed him for insulting her. He probably know what he did to her was wrong and that's why you don't see him complaining about it. he took his punishment and went on. Why would a man go to a woman's musical show? To please the woman he's with at the moment. Do you think teenager boys go to the cinema to watch a movie about depressed vampires and buff werewolves? No, they go the cinema to watch twilight becuase the girls their age(and amazingly, women in their 20's) enjoy that sort of movie.
I don't quite see how Katy something got her "revenge." She acted like a petty teenager girl. The guy didn't want to date her so what? He was the most popular boy, let me guess; he was the most good looking?
The most athletic? Or was he the captain of the chess team? a major fan of Star Trek?
Back then she was just average. He had tons of girls like her wanting to date him. Was he a bad guy for not dating them, instead he dated the leader of the cheerleaders?
Jealously is useless. So is envy.
And this has nothing to do with "scorpio revenge."
'revenge' is the power of will to go your own way without striking at the person. I've indulged that dark craving to hurt someone, someone who wronged me. Its a pleasant feeling but its useless. And costly.
In 20 years no one will remember that Katy girl. Who knows. Maybe someone she rejected now, will be the next Brad Pitt in another 20 years. Or maybe he'll be actually useful to mankind and turn out to be another Einstein. Either way, revenge is only temporary but true victory is to be the better one, how to become the better one?
Let go. Let go of the past. Don't ask the ghosts of the past to stay with you. Let go of the pain, the sting of loneliness, the pang of craving.
The intimacy of having that person in your hand, a sword in the other and the opportunity to hurt the guy or the gal who made you emotionally bleed.
Do you desire true revenge?
Find your happiness. Create your own path. Grow and the pathway to the Eagle token will be given to you. That, is also a lesson for myself; I must let go of my past so I can walk into my future.
Be nice and people will be nice to you. If they aren't, so what? You show class.

I used to be teased when I was a teenager for my lack of interest in playing soccer. I was also teased because I wasn't drinking myself to oblivion nor was I chasing girls. A decade later, I see those guys again. They're now married, with bills to pay, children to raise, already balding, and I see their beer bellies coming up.
Do they tease me now? No. Do I grin to myself in satisfaction? A small grin, yes. Had I met them again when I was 20 years old ,I would be jumping from joy at the chance to hurt them, "oh, look who has a full head of hair, no wife, no children to raise, no bills to pay, who's the bad boy now?"
I do talk about my situation now and then, but I do so not exactly to gloat. I do it because I want to show people another way to live life, instead of following the way our society(worldwide) is structured, live a little, go outside and choose your own life.
That's it. I don't feel superior for the way I treated my former classmates. I find some humor in it all, but not as a jester. More as satisfaction. My decisions were right after all.
High school(or University) popularity serves no purposes and can act as a determent to your goals. Live for yourself. Let go of what happened 10 years ago, 20 years ago. Were they mean to you? What are you going to do about it? Give it more power by making them "pay" for what they did to you, or are you going to learn from that experience and teach other people how to avoid what you went through?

I've gone to Bon Jovi concerts. I've gone to Sting concerts. I've gone to Killswitch engage concerts. Does that mean those bands are "good enough" for whatever it is, or was I there because:
1)I enjoyed the bands
2)I was there with friends
3)It made sense to be at the concert
There could be other reasons. It seems to me, cinamon girl, that the guy you wanted back in high school rejected you and now you're living your revenge through this singer. That doesn't make any sense. Nearly every human being has been rejected. Yes, Orlando Bloom, Gerard Butler and so on were rejected as well. Do you see them trying to humiliate the girl who didn't want them because Orlando Bloom wasn't as fit as he is today, or because Brad Pitt was lacking his bad boy grin?
I bet Angelina Jolie was rejected, too. She doesn't go around telling how much this x guy sucks because he rejected her. Why does it matter who rejected who and why, and what happened after that? High schools are there for kids to learn. They aren't there for girls to have the Football star. The cheerleaders aren't there to serve as muses for the Star Wars geeks.
Tell me. Why was that singer interested in the guy? Did she know him? His most inner thoughts, his fears and his dreams; what he wanted to do, how he reacted when a raindrop fell on his nose as he turned to the right, after seeing for the first time how this planet is beautiful?

So kathy is still a teenager girl. A teenager girl with the body of a woman. Maybe, if she was truly interested in having her "Revenge" she would have gone a different path. Instead of selling records via her breasts, not her singing, she would have shown herself to be more than a sex object, someone to be wanted because of how she looks and acts, now exactly for what is inside of her.

Usually, that is so. I've let go of my bitter memories. Gotta tell you. Its so liberating to simply not care about what someone did to me or how someone made me feel. I thank them for what they did to me; they made me stronger.
Now that I know that letting go of the past is far more profitable than wasting time and emotion brooding all over it, I will never go back to being that part of Scorpio. My life's expectancy is around 80 years; I have far more important things to do than sit around and act like a little boy because someone stole my toy car when I was a kid.

@ Simius just wanted to say that I read your posts and I agree with you on many points.
I've learned over the years that the best form of 'revenge' is to live a beautiful life. I'm still young and I (hopefully) have a long way to go and much to learn, but to live a beautiful life is one of my goals. It's also the only form of revenge that is good for you without harming others. If you strike back at someone, that hate stays alive and eats you up. It harms the self just as much as it harms others. If you poison someone else with revenge, you end up poisoning yourself too. However, if you show class and take the high road, it will only benefit you in the end.
To do something like Ms. Perry did speaks volumes about her, not about the guy. When someone does something like that, it makes that person look bad--and not the person who is the target of their wrath.



I agree with some of the stuff you say. I saw a girl from school who used to pick fights with everyone for every little thing. She looked absolutely horrible, very dirty, like she was sleeping on the streets. I actually felt kind of sorry for her but on the other hand I actually felt some kind of satisfaction and truly believed in the old saying, What comes around goes around. Anyone who hasn't felt some sort of satisfaction about seeing the person who hurt them get a little justice is lying. I don't believe that Katy is a bad person at all. People who are bashing her are only going by what she did. They have no idea how this woman is in private. BTW, can we all put this to bed. I mean, really, the people who are bashing Katy: This woman has obviously moved on with her life. She seems to be having a ball and living out her dream, making her money.She's not on some website wasting her time bashing someone.

never heard of the dude she was talking about, but katy perry is famous, wealthy, and more importantly happy doing something she loves. that in and of itself should be enough to make him feel like an idiot. i think it would have been best if he was trying to get to her attention and she did exactly what he did to her -- treated him like HE wasn't good enough...since he isn't famous, doesn't have as much money etc.

And why would you want to continue pissing of scorps??? Revenge shows immaturity and it doesnt really gain anything.
You feel great after but it is short lived. To me it seems like it was all a PR stunt,and am sure Miss Perry is wise enough to know you do not hang your dirty laundry in public.
If she had got a goodlooking hott guy on stage and started slow dancing whilst this high school crush look on in the audience,then that would have appeared unplanned and acting on impluse. Also no one else would have known what was going on-just katy and her high school crush.
