i am temporarily withdrawing from the dating scene. it gives me the hump. you can not take away my freedom. i am a name not a number. nothing - not even sex - is worth the grief that comes with spending any vertical time with any man within close proximity to andalucia...not even tony banderas at this juncture!!!

rig, taking a break is an awesome thing.
last year, i did the whole online dating fiasco. it was like having a second full time job Tongue
i've managed to only have one date this year. totally on purpose.
i wasn't even supposed to have that one, totally broke my promise to myself. but, it was worth it, pretty damn awesome date, if I must say. most definately one of the top three of all time for elle.

people are like that here generally. the step from one relationship to the next and they've all done the rounds with eachother. when you get introduced to them it reminds me of those chapters in the bible where all the begatting is going on....such and such begat such and such who begat....etc. etc. whereas here, it's 'this is such and such who was with such and such, (such and such's ex) and their son is going out with such and such.....etc, etc.

this is interesting....the other perspective. to cut through the BS completely, the reason i want to be single is cos i haven't met the right man yet. trouble is that the men i meet don't want to wait until we know each other better before they want to establish us as a 'couple'. seriously, i feel like a massively discounted item in a store sale that's grabbed hold of and claimed before anyone else can see what a bargain i am, lol!!

Hmmm, I don't know if having a different opinion and stating it makes one "defensive". I just found the contradiction interesting and pointed it out. Nothing more. Have I felt the feelings you outlined? Most definitely at various stages of my life. HOWEVER this isn't about me and I didn't see how the various feelings you listed applied to the OP or R1g, so *I* saw it as yet, just another way to bash a few Scorpio ladies. That was my only point.
I do agree, if you want to know how to understand someone of the opposite sex you should probably ask the opposite sex. However, I didn't read anything here that implied these women were looking for a deeper understanding of the opposite sex. Simply venting their frustrations.

Hmmm, I don't know if having a different opinion and stating it makes one "defensive". I just found the contradiction interesting and pointed it out. Nothing more. Have I felt the feelings you outlined? Most definitely at various stages of my life. HOWEVER this isn't about me and I didn't see how the various feelings you listed applied to the OP or R1g, so *I* saw it as yet, just another way to bash a few Scorpio ladies. That was my only point.
I do agree, if you want to know how to understand someone of the opposite sex you should probably ask the opposite sex. However, I didn't read anything here that implied these women were looking for a deeper understanding of the opposite sex. Simply venting their frustrations.

omg stop being ridiculous!! i have no trouble commanding respect irrespective of my behaviour. it ain't what you do it's the way that you do it.
i called the crab and we had a very friendly convo and he's coming round to take a look at the leak tomorrow. i suspect an element of this subtle crabby control that was mentioned. he knows i need him and he knows how one of the things i really like about him is that he is reliable to the nth degree.
and of course my posts here are dramatic. what's the point of posting boring shit. i can't help that nothing normal ever happens in my world, lol!!
