.....the woman somehow becomes more ATTRACTIVE or desirable to you even if you weren't that interested before she dumped you? I heard that a sudden desire and attraction is triggered in a man when the feelings of rejection are invoked. Suddenly wanting something you can't have or can no longer have might create that desire. But is there truth to triggering the attraction when you've been dumped?

Back in February a dating coach made a statement in a radio talk show I was listening to and advised taking attention away from a man and putting it on yourself or onto others and it would "grab a mans attention".

Given the circumstances of each individual and as you said " given the process of thought" how deep feelings and attraction go and how much history is there ... I would agree with what you said.

However, in another dating forum on-line recently, something similar to what I heard on the radio, was being discussed by a woman who was at an impasse in her relationship because she wanted to take it to the next level from dating to exclusivity and the guy still wasn't ready after many months of dating. One male in the forum suggested she should dump her partner and she herself should pursue others and she'd find someone who wanted the kind of relationship she was looking for but he then added she may notice that when she decides to dump the guy it would trigger his desire for her again and he'd start pursuing her because being dumped would "grab his attention". He further said something hardwired in men gets triggered when they get dumped that makes them more attracted to the woman and a desire to pursuing her once more.

I wondered if there was any validity to HIS statements about grabbing a mans attention and the reference from the radio show and if they do somehow trigger the attraction factor. I thought I'd put that question to other men away from that group and ask the scorpio MEN here on dxp what they had to say.
