you are aware though, that the crash is gonna be awful?! you should put that shit down....Sad i live in the country where red bull was invented - and i don??t drink it.
one can of red bull is approx. the equivalent of 21 cups of coffee and other chemical things like synthetic taurin blah blah blah - rather down a bottle of wine instead. it??s healthier.....
Sad ???

Yes, by the time the crash arrives, I'd be in my warm and downy bed. A Scorp plans her intake smile That was my last one anyways, I have not drank this ridiculous liquid of hyperactive energy in a great long while but the combination of a lack of sleep and a crazy schedule propels me to find anything, absolutely anything to keep me up and going. No choice...either the concentrated energizer bunny or the pissy snapping killing machine, the former alines closer with the work on my hands.
Red bull then wine, terrible terrible terrible mix, that is going way up high in the clouds to being dragged so far down, one might even end up in a depressive state, then the morning after is nothing but grueling. Upper-Downer should never merge...
Thanks dear Nem, I will take care of myself. Much ??? ??? ??? to you for caring smile

it's very potent (redbull)...but you can become so used to the stuff that you need more and more to get the same effect.
I was doing a software implementation a few years back that required 70+ hours a week of grueling computer work that required a ton of mental focus. I started with a large can in the morning....then added one to lunch....then afternoon....and I was suddenly downing 6-7 cans a day....completely oblivious to what I was ingesting.
One can was not enough anymore.
I can say that there wasn't any side effects from suddenly stopping the intake, but that was only over a six month period.
I have to admit though.....I LOVE THE SMELL of that stuff. Opening that can in your car.....it makes the entire ride quite pleasant. Tongue

that is the whole point; it??s sold like candy but it??s - just as many other things of course - toxic and addictive when misused or overused and if you actually really knew what you were taking in - you??d puke and ask for bloody compensation payment....
then i??d rather drink tea - and i HATE tea. lol.
@LADYSCORP: i am certainly not a health guru - i just wanted to be clear about red bull smile ??? nahhhh come on, bring on the foxy killer machine LOL. you take care and don??t crash to hard.

Most of the really intelligent Scorpios have married or had a long term relationship with an Aqua.

I think it's more of a fixed sign thing...Julia Roberts and Demi Moore have fixed moons, for example.

Goebbels wife was a Scorpio.

Everything about the Reich spells Scorp to me. The relentless pursuance of power, the holocaust...Scorps had such significant involvement with the Reich ...Joseph Goebbels, his wife Magda...Erwin Rommel, and also Stauffenberg, one of the masterminds of the plot to get rid of Hitler.
When I watched 'Schindler's List', the portrayal struck as being very Scorp like, thought it strange that a Sag had directed it...until I later developed a deeper interest in astrology and found out that Spielberg's Moon, Venus and Jupiter were in Scorp.
Posted by IntriguedScorp
That's not necessarily true based on what I was seeing. Although I do think many Scorps have that Libra venus which can be very appealing to Aquas in general. We both seek out friendship as a bases for a relationship and leeb venus Scorps are more aloof and less prone to clinginess. IMHO.

Touche. No arguing with the Libra influence and Aqua attraction. Have seen this at work too, personally.
Title: Clueless Gemini Entertains Crusty Scorp
Scene: An annoyed Scorp sits down for staff meeting, sitting across from a very sour Program Manager that very few staff like. Scorp 1 and Scorp 2 walk in and sit down. Bubbly Cancer sits beside Crusty Scorp and starts to chatter away. Clueless Gem (office husband) walks in with coffee??_.

Clueless Gem: Ha, I??m not falling for that trap, but I would think he would have to be pretty smart to be pulling in the money he does and drive that black matte Mercedes??_..I don??t know if I can say the same for someone that drives a white Mercedes though *smiles, sips coffee*
******room full of woman looks at PM, who happens to drive a white Mercedes*****
PM: *look like she just sipped cat piss out of her mug, forces a smile* Yadda, yadda, yadda
Crusty Scorp, Scorp 1, Scorp 2 and Bubbly Cancer: * exchange glances and smirk*
PM: *???shoots daggers?? at Clueless Gem for the rest of the meeting*

Scorp 1, Scorp 2 and Bubbly Cancer: *walk into office*
Bubbly Cancer: OMG, that was so funny ______!
Clueless Gem: What? You mean with ____ in the meeting?
Bubbly Cancer: Yes! Did you see her face? She was pissed for the rest of the meeting.
Clueless Gem: She was? Nooooo. *looks at Crusty Scorp for confirmation* She was? Really?
Scorp 1, Scorp 2 and Bubbly Cancer: * confused "is he serious?" expressions*
Crusty Scorp: *smiles* Gotta love him??_??_
Mr. Scorp's twin stopped by for a visit yesterday. Crazy how different they are.
Mine is very quiet, and calm. His brother is so very intense he makes me nervous. Seriously I don't think the guy sits. lol.
Emotional, and Mental Catharsis in progress.
Purgatory.
Life forces a deeply ingrained Vendetta within the darkest parts of my soul.
Scars that never heal, torn a fresh, blood drawn.
This was what I was born into, a task I must accept.
A vengeance that must be accomplished, for the loyalty and honor of those generations before me.
This journey that hold none prisoner, for everything and everyone must be obliterated.
My being will be given, it shall be imminent.
For a demand will be made for a sacrifice.
I give myself thee, for thy cause, until the very end.
One Painfully Personal Vendetta.

Mars Square Saturn: Probably the reason for unknown reasons I have been wanting to kill someone lately. And I'm such a placid person most of the time. Sad
Seething inside **
During this time it is necessary to proceed slowly and cautiously. The more thoroughly and carefully you perform any task, the more chance there is that it will succeed. This can be a very frustrating and irritating time, when all your efforts to assert yourself are blocked, more by a sense of internal inadequacy than by circumstances or other people. However, you are not likely to take negative reinforcement lying down, even if it comes from within yourself. The part of you that is struggling to break free from inhibitions will feel very angry at being held back. Consequently you are likely to be irritable and easily angered, although your inner doubts make you reluctant to show your anger openly. But no matter how you try to cover it up, everyone will be quite aware that you are seething inside.

Only once in your life...you find someone who can turn your world around

It may be just me, but this sounds a little disconcerting. What happens if you lose this person too early? Do you live in the past longing for an experience that *you know* will never happen again? How fair is this to your future and the other people you may meet?

Title Crust Scorp takes on the Supervisor of Maintenance and Administration
Scene It??s hot and muggy outside. Scorp walks into her rather cold office and immediately feels a chill. To manage the cold she opens the widow hoping some of the warm air will bring the room to a temperature she can tolerate. She knows it??s bad for the environment, but she??s not in the mood to request, yet again, that the A/C be turned down since this request was already ignored.

Crusty Scorp: *looks briefly at Supervisor, continues to type*
Supervisor: You know... *walks in*...that window shouldn??t be open
Crusty Scorp: *continues to type*
Supervisor : *walks over to window looks out* The air conditioning is on??_.
Crusty Scorp: *pauses, looks at Supervisor square in the eyes, goes back to typing*
Supervisor: I??ll get ____ to turn the A/C down *walks out*
Crusty Scorp: Thank you. *continues typing*

Acting out of the fear of consequence and not out of the generosity of your heart is not love or anything remotely like love.

True, but being realistic and looking towards what lies ahead in the future (knowing how it would plan out) that is not fear of consequence that is simply being grounded. That is still love but then then again I am one to believe love is not wholly unconditional as much as I would love to claim that it is, that is far too idealistic for my liking. There exists a very fine line between generosity and being completely delusional.

Hi LS. I have found that too many times people act generous when in reality they are just trying to avoid a confrontation or even "act" the part of a loving friend or lover. Honesty maybe harsh sometimes but at least it is authentic. I cannot stand feeling like someones is doing something for me out of obligation--I never asked for your obligation.
As for unconditional--an unconditional love is in a different Universe than an unconditional "relationship." A relationship is not Love. A relationship is the practical maneuvering between two people who may or may not have an unconditional love. For example, a person might love a person unconditionally--warts and all--but may not want to maneuver through a relationship with someone who has a three times a day need to shoot up heroin. That kind of thing. At least that's the way I always look at it. smile

Pick ones battles, not every one has to be fought is my motto, possibly not for every one else but it words for me, some wars do not exists with enough worthwhile cause to fight for its loyalty and honour.
Honesty, do not get me wrong, I love it but I also see the other side of it as well, plain/blunt/harsh honesty could be unnecessary at times, unwarranted, it could possibly cause more pain than necessary, sometimes one has to learn to keep silent and walk away, that is not a weakness, that is not cowardice, that is not an unwillingness to confront, at times certain circumstances/situations warrant one to take this option.

...As for obligation, one should never feel obligated, love is not about obligation but compromises should be made.
Perhaps I may be a romantic pessimist, a paradox, but everything exists with conditions, there will always be conditions, even if invisible to others or ourselves.
When everyone finds love, inside each one of them is a criteria, whether conscious or subconscious, we go out seeking what we need and want, hoping to find a match or one closest to it.
Do you truly believe one would find love with a person that goes against everything that make up who one is inside?
Love is grand, love may even be selfless but such 'unconditional' love is only found in books of Romeo and Juliet.
Loving an individual for who they are is not unconditional, it is simply encompassing, which is a distinguishing difference.
All entirely my personal opinion of course smile

Good answer.
My thought is that in order to open one's self up to love one must be willing to open one's entire self--all you actions, all the lessons you have learned, every nitty gritty bit of dirt along with all the wonderful stuff. If you can do that and your loved one can still accept you in your entirety, then you are loved without condition. My opinion.

smile
In agreement to your opinion there, I suppose one could say love is 'unconditional' on the soul level, at least that seems to be what you speak of, this acceptance of being, the core, the good, the bad, the dirty.
But love must encompass not only ones soul but ones mind, ones life, ones future, ones respective families, ones career, many many many factors.
Hence why I personally think love is not 'unconditional', it may be in certain aspects but not entirely though this would begin to ver off into the directions of relationships and commitment.

Okay, I was just about to start my day but I thought of this so I'm throwing this out there.
Conditional love says this: I love everything about this person except that patch of hair on their back. I really hate that patch of hair. But other than that, yeah let's get married. lol In my opinion, no matter how much you think you love and accept that person, that patch of hair you kind of resent is going to be like a puzzle piece that's missing and in x-number of years, you will find yourself looking at that patch of hair and HATING it and somehow that freaking patch of hair will represent everything you hate about your relationship. I'm not kidding.
Love the hair or don't love at all.

LOL@ patch of hair. Okay, my spin. Conditional love says this: I love everything about this person except that patch of hair on their back. I really hate that patch of hair. But other than that, yeah let's get married. Overtime, I forget the patch of hair is even there. He is one with the hair and I love him.

Well, I would say that you never really resented the patch to begin with--in fact I would go so far as to say if you are loving the patch in your dotage you never thought much of the patch in any consequence in your beginnings. Big Grin

Mind is mush remember, so bear with me...I suppose that is true. I may not be the right person to understand this analogy since I don't really resent physical "flaws" or (more to your point) certain personality traits, just as long as they do not interfere with our ability to develop a stronger/deeper bond. I'm pretty much a accept you are you are or move the f*ck on type of person. I wasn't always this way though.

j/k.. let me mind my business.

Guns do not do the task well (they kill but that is all and provide dramatic noises), knives are usually more personal, a very intimate slow unnerving kill but then again I do not even want to be in the presence of said individuals, their very being makes me sick.

(not being serious in regards to the weaponry, simply doing the typical dark musing us Stingers do)
