every autumn like clockwork my heart gets heavy, my creativity pikes up, my dreams more vivid, and more mystical happenings occur. like all the spirits wanna poke and prod at me now.

Yeah my energy shifts, but in a good way. At least that's how I see it. I am more social, my awareness is enhanced, picking up different types of energy and seeing things unfold before it occurs. I'm also more creative and have the energy and drive to carry it through. One year around this time I renovated my bathrooms and redecorated the whole house, which I had been dragging my feet on all spring and summer. Not because I was busy, I just didn't want to do anything else but lounge. The leaves fall, it gets a bit colder and it's like "summer" for me. I literally do my projects and spring cleaning in December. I'm just full of energy. NOT holiday spirit though *grumbles*.
I do notice I get anxious the weeks leading up to my birthday. Slowly builds, so I'm expecting that to happen soon.
So far I'm actually feeling ok. Im purposely trying to protect my emotions... as I was getting anxiety for this time to come around. We'll see how October works out.click to expand

I can get really in my head during this time. Im trying to avoid that.
Work has been stressful for me for some time now. I'm realizing its because the people I work with are affecting my energy. Im trying to do these things at work.. listen to music and just get tasks done and avoid any negativity.

Aging is kinda dawning on me. Not in a I'm scared of getting older kinda way. Just more of a, I'm no longer the most inexperienced person in the room anymore kind of feeling. Which is weird since it's approaching my birthday when you naturally tend to take stock of your life anyways. Makes me realize how many unique experiences I've had, albeit I view a lot of them negatively currently, which alleviates a little of the disappoint in myself for not having accomplished even one of the imagined goals I set for myself.
Really not looking forward to my birthday for once though. Normally I'm so excited, bugging my friends to plan things way out, thinking about what to do or what I want. Now I just wanna finish out this year without incident or added negativity. Like please let me sip some spiked hot tea, enjoy a sinfully delicious, make me want to lick the plate dessert and go to bed early. Thanks!

I often laugh whenever I read a Gem Moon description stating this placement is very social and overly chatty. Clearly the author is simply running with the stereotypes associates with the sign. Gem sign/placement? Sign of communciation? You love to talk!

Yeah it reminds me of Virgo moons actually, that analytical mercurial energy I guess. Because even though they're quiet, when a gem moon speaks it's very articulate, well thought out and highly detailed like you know they've been thinking about that shit for days.
I'm sure they were and just waiting for the best time to say something. I remember reading the word cantankerous once in "The Stone Angel" when I was high school and thought *that's a good word. I have to use it one day*, and I waited for the best time to use it. Many years later when I was having an issue with someone that was being a pain in the a** I went off and threw the word in there for good measure. The flip floppiness is hard for me to pin down though. I've watched my bestie literally change her decision on something over night then back again a half a dozen times in one week. I wish I could understand where that comes from to better help her think through things, but it's so out of my moons frame of reference lol.
Hmmm. I struggle with that as well. It was worse before, and I've noticed it gets a bit better as time goes on. This may be partially because of my Scorp bits, therefore it may not apply to your friend...for myself it's about needing to make the "best choice". I don't want to make the wrong decision. Consequently, I'll dance around my options until I'm satisfied. Best to remind her that whatever decision she makes doesn't have to be the "best" and if she's not happy simply make a new choice at that time.
I read somewhere Gem Moons indecisiveness tends to occur because we can see both sides to every problem and give them equal consideration when trying to solve an issue. It's also why we tend to get labelled "two face" or unwilling to take sides. We simply have the ability to see the "truth" in both parties arguement and there is a willingness to accept that there are multiple ways of seeing something vs black and white thinking. Image that in a Scorp
. When I learned to accept that part of myself was a positive thing vs a curse I noticed I did the back and forth dance less and less. Funny how acceptance does that for a person. I noticed the indecisiveness things is an issue for all air moons though, it just occurs for different reasons. From what I've observed with Gem Moons, it has more to do with openness and the desire to explore other possibilities and unwillingness to accept "one" truth. Leeb moons, the desire to people please, keep things "pleasant" and not look like the bad guy. Aqua, don't like to play within the boundaries that are set by others. There is another "unique" and more exciting option out there. You say there are only two choice. They say, "Yeah? I'll find a third" and off they go playing all angles until they are satisfied.

That's another weird thing, the three gem moons I know all are involved in some capacity with cancer moons. And they constantly ask me to evaluate emotional situations with them. It's a weird attraction to observe lol. Especially as I've never been into a gem moon outside friendship interests. Like nooooo Gemini moons. Don't do that to yourself. We don't mind emotions and can handle them quite well in others (but I may be biased given my other placements). We just don't like to sit with our own.
Although they shouldn't (due to that trine magic), my fellow air moons irritate me at times, especially Leeb Moons. Life isn't meant to be "pretty", it's filled with unpleasantness and a little bit of conflict is okay sometimes. Embrace some conflict. P*ssy!

*nods* Dated him for a few months. Grew up in the same area, had the same circle of friends, but never talked until one day I simply asked him "why the hell do you keep staring at me?!"
He was a good guy, he was hung up on an ex, so I told him to deal with that. I know how emotionally invested I can get when love is involved. Right or wrong, I assumed he was struggling with the same issues. I wanted no part of being a "mistress" to that relationship. Even if it only existed in his head.

I have been right there. For months. Been trying to get out of it, but damn it's so difficult some days.
I don't have any sweeping answers sadly lol. But focusing on practical and straightforward things has helped a little bit. Adding more meditative time in the mornings too. However the first hour of my day goes it tends to set my mood for all day.click to expand

It's Scorpio season. And I'm nursing a completely broken heart. And trying to figure out how I want my life to look and what kind of person I am. I also fully believe that unless you're Gigi Hadid or the like, that you're twenties suck no matter what.
I'm ready for some of these thoughts to settle and the nagging emotions to finish processing too. I haven't been myself for months but it's been very noticeable the last two weeks at work. A lot of my coworkers are worried and keep asking what's up. It's just too much to tell anyone in passing. I can barely get a grip on it myself so I certainly can't articulate it to a casual friend in 30 sec or less lol.
2017 has to be different. It can't be like 2016, 2015 or 2014. I've had three shitty back to back years, that get progressively worse. It's made me dread my birthday and the new year. No more catastrophic drama or confusing chaos, only clarity, simplicity and practicality allowed.

Those exact thoughts crossed my mind as well, it got me thinking perhaps we are the one to inspire such masochism in others, not that I mind, at times.
How strange, when men do not get what they want from us Stinger women.
We are then somehow villainized.
They declare us as evil beings, who have only brought wrath and sorrow into their lives.
Just because we did not give them what they want, just because we did not succumb to their manipulations, just because we could actually think for ourselves.
We are declared - delusional, insane, cold, manipulative, deceiving etc. Even when we have clearly stated our stance and reinforced it as well.
The recent threads had me flipping through the pages of my past in my mind, this trend seems to occur over and over again.
Perspective is such a cruel fickle mistress.
How glad am I to be with my decent and stable Virgent, no more insanity in my life.
We are then somehow villainized.
