I think we are just the most notorious. There are probably more Scorps on this site than any other sign because of that.
When I first came to DXP I believed Scorps were a lot cooler than I think most are now. lol
Many Scorps just revel in the fact that we are regarded as powerful and dangerous and "deep" and never look to move beyond that. That unfortunately makes for a lot of arrogant, ignorant, and proudly cruel Scorps. "Stinger Pride" is what I call it. Scorps not realising the scorpion is just the beginning stage and not our ideal end.

I know, I know: IT'S JUST ASTROLOGY, but...
Scorpio and Virgo are two signs I will pointedly try my hardest to avoid getting into any type of close relationship (friendship for scorpio, lover for virgo, especially if they have a water moon) with in real life.
It's honestly that bad.
I may just be an emotionally selfish air sign; they may just be two of the clingiest, most controlling signs I have ever come across.
But ultimately one of us would have to die or go mad or something.
The scorps on dxp are down to earth, though (Ladybug, Bling, Satori, Ellesque, Elly etc).
No comment regarding dxp Virgos.

Not everyone hates or is intimitated by Scorps. Me being a Capricorn, I can't get enough of them. I love their intensity, passion and energy. I'm currently dating a Scorpio man and he's the best boyfriend I've ever had. His piercing eyes are alluring and extremely sexy. As secretive as Scorp men can be, somehow he has no problem telling me what he feels inside. But I don't nag him to do so. Even if I sense something wrong, I may ask him what's wrong, but I wait till he feels like telling me. I've been reading about how Scorp men can be controlling. It is true, but his controlling nature isn't intimitating. He just cares and just wants what's best. I just let him lead and I never go wrong. He's so intellegent. More so than myself. As far as him having an explosive temper, he has very good control over that. I don't ever feel like I'm in danger. When he's moody, I just leave him alone and he usually bounces back with a wild sense of humor that makes me laugh so hard, my cheeks hurt after words lol. So in my opinion, Scorps, men or woman, aren't so bad. In fact, I love any I come across. Scorps rock!!
