*MUST READ: SCORPIO + LEO: DRAMA

To all Scorpios and Leos (an everyone in between)

I would love to hear your insights and advice on this dynamic relationship.
I am a true Scorpio female and Ive been in a relationship with a proud Leo male for about three months. (his venus is Cancer and is apparently romantically compatible with my venus which is Scorpio).
This man fell very fast in love with me and I have never been in such an emotionally intense relationship in such a short amount of time. Me being a typical introspective Scorpio, my intuition has told me many things about this man's character: his "must be the leader" attitude, his (sometimes false)pride, and his overly dramatic emotions. I consider myself to be an emotionally stong person personality wise and I am surprised how I sometimes find myself with my mouth shut and him doing all the talking when he 'takes over' conversations in his leading attitude.
I learned that he and I are powerful but my power is VERY different than his. He is "what you see is what you get", displaying his authority openly to others, and my power is more hidden and I reveal it when necessary (If pushed, I push back).I have learned A LOT about Leo men from this guy, including the good as well as the bad.
Arguments are.....how do I put this....Explosive?...We both have very strong tempers and tenatious minds. His temper is on the defensive side and once he puts that wall up it is much harder for me to get my idea through. He matches my personal strenth in character and we are both damn stubborn and hard headed when it comes to our opinions! Misunderstandings between us quickly led to loss of respect and trust on my side. I have calculated the overall situation and decided that I would rather end things for the better than be in a relationship that struggles for mutual understanding. I have tried to tell him time and time again that we do not understand each other---my perspective does not get through to his understanding and he thinks I am always hurting him--and yet when I am just asking to separate with peace he lashes out dramatically blaming his hurt on me then his pride starts talking.
I know this man really truly loves me deeply. However, with all the misunderstanding between us I think love is not enough. I cannot have someone say they love me and treat me with disrespect. Anyway I enjoyed reading previous scorp/leo posts and would love to hear feedback. Thanks for reading 😉

Leos and Scorpios don't get along. I think you need a male Fish.

My mom is a Leo. She finally mellowed out.

Leos want to dominate and win. So basically its been a clash of wills because both sides want to win.

"scorp behind u" its funny you say that because when I hinted to him that I want to end the relationship one of the first ways he reacted was "u think u win?"??lol i didnt understand that because i didnt percieve it that way...
Im not really asking taurus babe as i am just looking for insight into other leo/scorpio relationships and combinations. but you r right both are fixed signs and it can either go very well or very bad.
Roxi you really hit the target its tru thats what I meant by we are both stong in character but (we show it) in different ways. Power struggles were an issue because even though i appriciated his stong personality i disliked the way he used it with an authoritive attitude toward me (which is his nature) and I do NOT like to be controlled.

Leo/Scorpio is a great coupling....Anyone who says otherwise needs to try it out before dishing out utter rubbish...Both are strong personalities..but Leos are just show offs I wouldn't go as far as dominating..They do mellow out..they just love to be heard and praised..every now and then..if you don't praise them, they will hang around until you do..they are loyal but then again you get bad apples in every sign..

I can't stand people who make assumptions based on one bad experience...Figure out the other signs and their workings etc...
