He's spilled the "I love you" words to me on many occassions already. It's been 4 months now. My b-day is tommorow and over the weekend we were going to celebrate it. I don't know what to say here but he keeps F'ing up. There's always a catch with him, something up, something to screw the plans or change it or bend it so it's always got his finishing touch to take away anything that could of made it special.

Am I hard to please? Some might say, others that know me know I can be simple and if I know you love me I am happy. This guy loves me, his friends tell me I'm all he talks about, but he just doesn't freaking know how to be a boyfriend! He wants me to communicate, so I do, and he listens, but the last thing I want to do is change someone, I like him, but, but...

K, friday he was gonna take me out for b-day fancy dinner. He gets off early it's a beautiful spring day, so him & his chick friend go sit on a lounge all day and he is half in bag by time I get off work. I am quite dissapointed but anyways...K, so then we go for sushi, and I thot it would be just us after, but the chick friend invites us down for a fire in her backyard with her new bf. She is hot and flirty and very promiscuous but is cool to be friends with, it just really bugs me he hangs out with her so much, she's like so often in the picture, it's irritating. She will kiss his cheek or hug him or pull him aside to talk and tell me he's crazy about me in the same hour. I think that's just the way she is though.

ANYways, so after we go to his place where he invites his friends down, and all I wanna do is be alone with him and relax. Eventually I leave, HIS friends still there, I'm off to bed.

Next evening is my party with MY friends, and oh, he shows up, leaves after one drink saying he's sick, and comes back for the last 20 minutes later in the night.

K, maybe bad example, but it's ALWAYS like that. Plans always change to his world, and I am dissapointed. Yet when it's good, it's Fukking good. so? 🙂 😢

Ya, I think she's used to men's / his attention. He does have a bit of a rubber arm too, which I have a problem respecting. Not like he'd do anything with someone else, he has loyal qualities when it comes to that, but if a friend calls for his attention he's there, oh but now he'll drag me with, or beg me to understand & let the plans change. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, what about MY bloody needs?!!!

I don't like it either. He sounds a bit young and not ready to settle down. If that is okay with you, go for it! If you are looking for a long-term commitment, I would pass this guy up.

Love only means a little. You need to be compatible. Your needs are not compatible with what he is able to give at the moment.

I am also a person that hates putting "rules" on my man, or trying to change a person. Shouldn't they want to make me feel good? I try to do that for my man.

Maybe I'll bring up my peeve with him and at the same time ask him if there is anything I can do to make him feel better so we can grow. He keeps saying he wants us to last and never wants to lose me, so if he's for real, he will listen.

thats a good idea...the key in success of a relationship, besides marrage, is communication. tell him what you want and if he doesnt comply, you know hes not worth the trouble dont you.

TG- you should just sit him down and talk to him and be serious and let him know that you are serious...I think you have a better chance at being honest with him on all your views...he will respect that.
