I'm starting to think not all signs are equal. My 2 best friends (A cancer and Pisces) are Aries rising, one with an Aries moon and one with Aquarius. Both act far more like their Aries counterparts than their water signs.
I used to hate scorpios due to past events, they ALL had a common trend. However, one completely threw me. I was in disbelief when I found out scorpio, I thought libra. He has very little water in him.
He's Scorpio sun; But his rising is Gemini, Libra moon(my moon), Libra mercury, and Virgo venus(love those) and Cancer mars (same as me).
Still deciding if this is a prospective love interest for me, but right now I am enjoying his company and friendship. Have not put much effort into dating, too busy!
But he's unique. 14 years my senior and very prominent in my unique social circle. He has many period clothes and will dress in full Victorian garbs and his whole house is like stepping into a time machine. I like the unique.
What do you think, not all scorpys alike?

Clueless Cancer, the Capricorn was never anything. I didn't pursue him. We talked but he's proved his ass holeness and only wanting sex ever since I met him. I don't want anything to do with him.
I'm not dating anyone right now. I don't have many interests. This is just someone I am curious about. Nothing physical has taken place other than a chaste peck on the lips.
You can have many crushes but nothing ever happens with them. These aren't all guys I've dated etc

Can I borrow his monocle and absinthe drinking set?
How about his steam powered time machine?
He has all of these things lolol.
And VS, I only say this because of how many stereotypes there are with scorps and blah blah. The multiple I dated of scorps were all different but they had a distinct power hungry and controlling/vindictive mind games vibe. None of that from him do I detect.
He was born on Halloween.Signed Up:

A lot of ppl think he's gay, including myself at first. But nope! A lot tend to think fancy dress folk (including my best male friend who designs fashion as a side job) are gay. Just because they aren't roided out, jersey shore, or red necks. So dumb.

But srs....you guys don't understand the stuff that goes on in some of my circles. this kind of dress is normal. In my area people don't judge him, they want pictures.
We have pin up girls, circus freaks, burlesque dancer. Fancy dress is common. Many goths etc. I am into corsets and bustle skirts etc. I'm far from normal. Many hippies who are poly, into open relationships. Very many bi.
Some of my perfectly straight male friends had a bi/gay moment just to try, or in an orgy or threesome once in their life. But I'm taking like 10-15 years ago for most. Trying to discover themselves etc. I've had some too. But I don't consider myself bi or gay.

He also carries fancy canes on occasion and she's very into the bustle goth look. He's def not gay. He's helping to fix my clothes after work, I can't sew a button!

Hah thanks guys!
Is 14 years a huge difference? I honestly never would have guessed his age as 38. I thought 28-32 if I had to do a range. All my friends are 30s-50s and most look very good for their age, so hard to tell! I had one 20 year difference (won't go past 14) and a few 8-13 year. 14 is one of my fav numbers, as is 3.
My Gemini male best friend told me not to assume anything yet and don't get clingy. Says people in our realm are often more snuggly than most, so best to play it by ear. And he did say he likes to start of as friends.
He has a female best friend, normally that would bother me. I'm very jealous. But ya know? It doesn't with him. He told me there is no chemistry and I believe him, I've witnessed them together plenty of times and she's actually really cool and sweet. When we went to karaoke last weekend, I had thought he may want to invite her so I suggested the invite but he said he hadn't planned on it and wanted it to be just us. He says she comes to him for her guy advice, just like I do with my room mate and my Gemini best guy friend.
Gemini best guy friend and Pisces best girl friend (both Scorpy moons) just got married after 8 years together. It seems like far longer than almost a year when they adopted me into their family. We became so close, so fast. Same with Pisces other best female friend and master troll Aqua husband. Couples adopt me ~.<
But it's through all these new people I met my soon to be new room mate, and also guy in said status. Plus many more peeps.

Yes, 14 is pretty large age difference, its taboo. Do you have venus in the 10th, venus aspected to saturn, or saturn in the 7th? The largest ive done is 7 years. I perfer the student/teacher relationship.

DMV, I have no idea. Birthday is June 12th 1989, 11:50 pm born Orlando Florida. He is October 31st 1975, 7:31 pm, Hollywood CA
He says his biggest difference was 13 years. This is just plus 1 year. Also, it's not a full 14. It's like 13.5.
My biggest age gap was 6 years older than he is now and I recently was talking to a 13 year difference. I just have always liked older, all of my friends are older so if I meet someone in my scene or naturally, they are most likely older. I don't exactly seek it. On my online dating profile, I have it set up where only ages 24-35 can message me. But I just so happened to meet him in my friend circle and find him interesting. He looks late 20s.
Do you think it's exactly bad? I had read, it's past 15 years where large age gaps begin to be a problem.
For ex, when I'm 40, he will be 54. Doesn't seem so weird then, does it? But then that other guy, it would have been 50 and 70....
30 and 50, not a big deal. 40 and 60, still not that bad. But 50 and 70? That's where the issues come in. That 20 year older was still the best I've had in bed. I just can't help attracting older, I look younger but most of my friends pegged me early 30s when they met me because of my mannerisms, how I talk/carry myself etc.

The general rule is, half your age plus 7 is the youngest you can date. That's 26 for him. I'm 25 in 6 months, so that's not exactly that far off, now is it?
Plus, it's not like he's close to my dads age. A lot of times if a girl dates older people say "daddy issues." Well my mom is 15 years older than him, and my dad is a full 19.

I just saw your last part of your post. To answer you, I get along with both. I am VERY close to my friends, but also my family. I have some friends my age that I kept since middle school/HS but my new circle as of the last 2 years, average 6-25 years older than me. Some of my closest female friends are 8-9 years older, and my closest male friends (besides room mate) are 32 and 40, they are also best friends. The youngest friend I have is turning 20, that's strange to me but I forget her age a lot because of her maturity.
I'm very close to my mom, my grandpa, bothers dad(he's more my father figure than my real dad), and my brother. My brother is 18 with a genius IQ. He had a full ride to MIT but he chose UT. It seems as if my brother and I show maturity than our mother etc, my brother even more so!Signed Up:

Also rather ironic; I was introduced to him, or knew of him earlier this year. But it wasn't until the tail end of the summer where I started to talk to him more, and actually meet him. Our first hang out was with him and his best friend around October, and we have been becoming more close on an individual basis recently.
The ironic part is, I actually "met" him for the first time LAST summer. I actually took a picture of him at a convention where there were THOUSANDS of people and it's on my laptop.
Life is funny hah.
