Umm do you want her to rip or not?
Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was 32. It is reported that a call went out to 911 from her Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She was only 32. It was unexpected and that's a pretty young age to go in this day and age. Just because it's a part of the natural cycle of things doesn't make it any less tragic. You also have to take into consideration that she has family and friends that will be mourning her passing too.

Back at ya Rox! And a happy holiday to you and your family.
lol Are you yawning, DK?
You're kinda hot, btw smile
yes, yes I am hahaha! I'm taking retarded pics to send to my sister for a Christmas card.
I think the major cause was from anorexia.
I thought she was so cute in "Clueless"
The cause of death does live me somewhat dumbfounded.....how is collapsing in the bathroom natural causes?
She probably died of starvation ... that would equal collapsing in the shower dying of natural causes .. because starving to death is a natural cause.
Anyway, her death doesn't matter.

If her life mattered to her, then she wouldn't be dead right now .. so, if her own life didn't matter to her, then what the fuck do I care that she's dead.
just sad that she died so young...may she rest in peace.
I always thought "natural causes" was if you died in your sleep or something like that.
I liked her best in Clueless of course, but she was really good in Girl Interrupted too.
sorry! there, i hid it. i stand by what i said tho. & you're quite welcome lovely.
You're clearly not detached, so just stop with that nonsense you keep running.

I took the friends and family mourning into consideration..
and my question was asked in general terms..
(...)
how come nobody made a thread about..
the kids who die in Iraqi, for example..
(whether we know their names or not..)

I know, right? LOL I don't mean to sound harsh, but it's crazy how everybody is on myspace or facebook like "omg brittany murphy died. sad face." did you know her??? My mom died on the 4th of July and I didn't come post a forum. I'm just saying.. people die everyday. I didn't know the woman, never met her. Yes it's sad that she passed away, it's sad when ANYONE passes away. But I work in a nursing home where I see death on a regular basis. It's unfortunate, but it's a fact of everyday life. I don't get all hung up on celebrity deaths like OMG it's such a tragedy. It's not different from anyone else passing away. Let them rest in peace.

Oh, but they *are* different than the average Joes who die everyday. These are celebrities we're talking about. We live in America, where people know more about whos screwing who in Hollywood, than they know about whats going on in the war.

And fwiw, I don't think people are laying in bed crying and ready to slit their wrists over her death. It is natural to be shocked when someone we've watched in movies we love, dies.

Hello. A cardiac arrest at the age of 32 = cocaine and/or heroine overdose. I don't care what they say. There's no way she died of "natural causes", unless, by some freak chance, she was born with some sort of genetic mutation that allowed her as an embryo to form a cocaine/heroine reserve which was then naturally lodged in her body somewhere, lying dormant all these years, until the ripe old age of 32, where it dislodged itself from its place of hibernation, traveling throughout her body, wreaking havoc on both her body and career, before finally (and very naturally I might add) killing her. Winking Natural Causes, LA style .

I totally agree...and if you have lots of money and can buy as much drugs as you want....you can kill yourself.
If it is drug related the family probably wouldnt let the media get a hold of that information.
Oh I missed this. I posted in the music forum...I should have known no one would see it. Haha.

I loved B. Murphy, she was one of my favorite actresses.
Actually, in the DXP question who would play you in a movie I put Brittany Murphy. smile

I was really sad to hear about this actually. Don't know why it bothered me so much, but it did.

That was my opinion too.
I had a friend in high school die of heart failure in her sleep. It was totally out of nowhere, no warning signs - she was 18. Sad
Although no one wanted to admit it...it was pretty obvious she struggled with anorexia. She was really into fashion - she was brilliant actually, I'm positive she would have been something great.
She knew how "manipulate" her weight to look how she wanted and fit into the clothes she made herself. She looked just like one of those girls in the fashion magazines. She was beautiful. Really sad.
People don't realize how even a few months of that behavior can weaken your heart. It's not uncommon for someone to struggle with an eating disorder, recover, and still die years later of heart failure.
PS: people said really fucked up shit about her too...like she must have overdosed.
(I knew her for years...never knew her to do drugs.)
