Debra & I will celebrate our second anniversary on WEDS, and The Twins will have their first birthdays on 7 & 8 NOV - right around the corner.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but Debra's Mom is a 30 OCT Scorpio, and her Dad is a 7 JUL Cancer. So, I'm surrounded by Water People!

Anyway, it is amazing to me how much these Scorps have changed me. I am not the Virg I was back in FEB 2006, that's for damn sure! Plans? Routines? Forget that shit!

This year, The Twins will have a joint birthday party, but Debra wants them to have separate celebrations when they're older. She wants them to feel like the individuals they are, and I agree. They are Daylight & Dark. She's the Talker, and He's the Doer. She's dainty and follows her Mom around most of the time; while he's happiest rooting through my tool boxes, and chewing (& drooling!) on my sockets and allen wrenches. I bought him a toy tool set, but he seems to know the difference - or, maybe the stainless steel ones taste better??

Both of them were born with a head of dark hair, which they lost after a few months, and their new hair is different. Hers is almost as dark as mine, and his is very light blond. She resembles my Mom, and he resembles Debra.

She yaks ALL THE TIME! He grins and grunts more than he talks. They really don't cry that much (I was a very vocal baby!). He had an ear infection back in the Spring, but otherwise they've been very healthy critters. They get into everything. We have to double-check every time we lock a cabinet around here.

We're both firm with The Twins, but Debra is tougher on them than I am. When Mom is away, I'm their Jolly Playmate, and they almost always wear my old ass out! What energy they have! Shee-yit!! Debra made a cute picture of the three of us piled up in my recliner in a mid-afternoon nap - I'm sleeping harder than they are!

As for their developing Scorpio personalities: They're not like my original Scorpio daughter (a 29 OCT variety) at this age. She was much more driven on a daily basis than they are, and she cried a lot more. But... She's an Eagle now, and maybe that's the way she had to be with me & LibraEX. They're easier to get along with, but I'm gonna have to be careful not to blunt their spirits - a Virgo Man with a Taurus Moon can be one bull-headed SOB!
