Scorp/Cap - Can it work?
Why do walls have to be brought down, at all?
If your intentions are more than just spending fun time, then perhaps this should be revealed to him, so that you will come off true, rather than a manipulator.
It seems that people (mainly women) have a hard time in just letting it flow, letting nature takes it course ... there is always an agenda to push the man, though the opposite is presented to the man in order to trick him.
It's a no-wonder why men are so elusive ... why not just not think about what you can gain from him, and actually be that fun person you are presenting to him to see where the chips fall?

P-Angel... I've browsed these boards for quite some time and I've always wondered why your replies have to be so confrontational and assuming. I'm not manipulating him in any way...
I'm not into playing games... in fact from what I've read about this combo it's always hard to start because both are afraid to say what they feel so I let him know first... in a very non-confrontational way that I liked him and that I want to have fun with him when we can together (he's out of town a lot and very dedicated to his work) and asked that he not push me away (which he's admitted to doing in the past when things started to get too real) and in return offered to be more open with him... I don't demand any more of his time than he has to give and when we are together it's great I'm just wondering if there is ever going to be a chance that he actually lets me in rather than keeping me an arms length away even though I can know he likes me... he loves to cook for me and hang out and while we've kissed we haven't slept together yet...
He is so worried as coming off as selfish and of me getting hurt because in the past he was apparently deemed not good enough by others and he's holding on to this in a sense that he can never be enough for me (even though I've asked for nothing from him)
I don't know - I'm trusting my instincts that we're moving forward slowly but in a good way but then there's that tiny part that wonders maybe I'm reading it all wrong...
btw - I'm beyond games - spent way too much of my youth immersed in them (I was an expert I fully admit) but now I'm just tired of hiding/ of not saying what I feel... I can see the progress I've made after many years of introspection... not all scorpios are damaged as these boards seem to indicate, some of us learn from our pasts.

Isn't that the opposite of what is typical - actions speak louder than words? He cares for me... and he shows me without words... he's been independent for so long that it seems like it's his protection (speaking as a scorp I recognize this mechanism well)... he's just so worried about *me* that I'm not sure he knows what he wants or what he deserves - it almost seems like he has this deep rooted - I don't *deserve* anyone mentality.. who knows... he's gone for a while so I'll have patience and see what happens - from everything I've read though he seems completely cap through and through...

Actions may speak louder than words with some, but this is a Cap and if he's telling you something it doesn't mean ignore it just because he's being nice. I'm sure he cares for you, Caps care for everybody(little secret), especially those that manage to get close. I just don't want you to mistake this care for something more or get too caught up in his "potential." Whatever his deep rooted mentality/insecurity is, is something he'll have to get over on his own.

we've been getting along well when we're together and I can tell that he likes me though from everything I've read he's exhibiting typical capricorn behaviour and saying that work comes first and that he can never be enough for me (even though I haven't asked him for anything other than spending time with him having fun) though his actions betray his words... he's away a lot which doesn't bother me but I'm wondering if it's actually possible to get a capricorn to let down his walls over time... any input would be appreciated...
