Yes, there ARE other topics. I personally want to find out how and why some people are very good receivers, psychically speaking, and other are better at sending or projecting. Also, has anyone collaborated with other artistic folk to just hang out and do creative things in the same room and if you did was there an increase in the creative energy or was it more disruptive to the creative process? And how many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

I think people should exploit the net to get involved in causes that are far greater than themselves.
For example, we hear of Environmentalism - you know, save the planet, make laws, regulate and enforce.
The irony is that the Enviromentalists will holler about this or that you, the peon, will do that "harms"
the environment but say nothing about the crap that is being sprayed in the sky by these aircraft.
There's a much bigger picture to observe than the senseless petty things like American Idol and who's popular and who's not...... sheeeeeeeesh.... smh.

Well, it's up to us older generation to conduct ourselves appropriately in the course of discussion.
I've posted a lot of stuff over the past couple of years. And every time, someone will come in
and play stupid, act stupid or whatever to detract, derail the course of the threads.
I've maintained that if "Scorpio" is about life, death, rebirth, then, people should be talking
about those other things as well. There has been waaaay too much chatter about sex, taboos, etc.
and Scorpio, to the point that one gets the impression that we Scorpios are a bunch of manipulating lousy little gods and/or screamin' demons from hell.
I think people should be far more concerned about what's really going on in the world at hand than
dream up a question like... "Do Scorpios really go out at night and sleep with the dead?" or
"Can I have your baby if I experience a soul shattering mind blowing telepathic orgasm?"
People, such thinking is NOT normal.

All of us at one time I think has tried to start a thread that's about something other than relationship crap.
But inevitably some air sign comes along and either completely derails the thread with bitching about Scorps, or creates a completely idiotic thread about Scorps, that it's pretty much an exercise in futility to bother.


Actually, any topic that isn't about a relationship thread will typically fall to the bottom of the page by the end of the day (maybe the next if it's a slow day) because very few people are interested in much else right? This includes Scorps, so I don't know if these "non Scorps" and their "b*tching" are entirely to blame.
In respect to the relationship threads constantly floating on the board, I can't remember the last time I saw a thread (other than the Asylum) that wasn't 90-95% dominated by air/fire posters. Take those two factors into consideration, you have the hot mess that is the Scorp board.

Right and we all "contribute" to the drama in one way or another. Either by participating in those drama focused threads or/and not participating in the non relationship focus threads that ultimately sink to the bottom of the page. I mean seriously, Scorps are the master of ignoring people, so if you make a thread that gets trolled ignore the idiot and keep it movin'. Trust, the person will eventually fade to black.

I would personally love to talk about things like inspiration, journey to being a better person, where each of us strive to be in life. That support from each other would be very helpful at times. To place the emphasis not on the pain or detail of a struggle or to figure out this person or that one so much as to help each other answer the question of why that situation or struggle exists. What are we meant to learn in this life. This would be powerful and deserving of all of us.

That is not to say that I have a great many experiences in life that have taught me a great deal. I want to help, as we are helpers. So if I see a thread where I think I may be of some help to someone I will do my best with as much respect and integrity as I can give that particular situation. Life hurts, and what better way to help each other along by having input when its been asked for. There is a purpose for everything. This forum, you, me and all the threads and just because you cannot see the relief, or smile, or whatever on someone's face does not mean it does not exist.

I really wish there was more interest in other areas of life. Maybe it's just me.
I was doing research on the fluoridation of drinking water, hexafluorosilicic acid, Barium and
few other compounds.
The stuff they are putting in drinking water is "safe" dispensed at .07 MgL per day, but a person who drinks more than a liter in one day, may exceed the prescribed dosage limits so disclosed by the Centers for Disease control. Also, I have found that the material is regulated as a hazardous material being a corrosive. In transportation, this stuff requires placarding, handling and emergency response
knowledge and training.
There's a reason why you don't swallow toothpaste. But then.... they put the stuff in (Tap) drinking water.
And if one were to say they don't drink tap water, they forget that they wash their dishes with the stuff.

Well, it's not so much toothpaste as it is the fluoride.
You can brush your teeth with baking soda.
Baking soda also helps with an acidic stomach.
But the other problem is fluoridation of drinking water.

You realize that pretty much all new posters on DXP come to post relationship questions involving astrology. That is the main function/majority of the site. If the people that habitually lurk on boards such as Scorpio don't like that, then why don't you create a little chat group between yourselves? Why are you complaining about relationship questions on a site that has to do primarily with relationships/astrology? Seems to me like people just want to bitch between themselves to pass time. Not to mention how disrespectful it is to insult people that come here sharing personal stories and are looking for honest advice. Funny how the "new" posters that are being insulted and attacked are usually people that have enough of a life to not hang around DXP all day long.
Honestly that is the reason that people are always leaving DXP and the people that stay are usually completely toxic

I think people always leaving DXP because, sooner or later, the repetitious sexually oriented subjects gets old. It's like re-reading "how many ways can you screw a light bulb into the socket, are there?".
There are only so many ways and then... the threads reduce to idle talk.
As near as I can tell, one reason why the Scorpio forum seems to be most popular is because of "sex"
being applied to Scorpio by those who perpetuate such ideas. "Sex sells", so it has been said. If the
mind has been reduced to thinking only about sex, it will buy anything in common with the subject.
The dynamics of a human being and the combination of two human beings in a relationship are so diverse, you really cannot answer "why this?" or "why that?" by limiting the discussion based on a sign or combination of signs. That's non-sense.
Today, I want ham and eggs, but tomorrow, I may want something else. Don't ask me what I will want for breakfast tomorrow, because I don't know whether I will even see tomorrow.
