I have a few close (male) Scorp acquaintances, we get along very well, they match my passionate nature but it's ridiculous how competetive they are about everything, it's like they're struggling with inferiority issues on a day-to-day basis and constantly having to prove themselves. Female Scorps don't come off as insecure as their male counterpart. But I guess men are generally more insecure in their skin these days regardless of sign.

I do struggle with inferiority issues, but they are not influenced by other people, I have standards and aspirations that are always a little out of reach thus I feel as though I have fallen short every time.

The first paragraph is just not true. In my experience, Scorp guys tend to get themselves into competetive arguments without anyone even challanging you, and seemingly without any meaning but to prove yourselves, compared to others. Sort of like pulling a Leo, in a stereotpyical sense.

And the second paragraph proves my point because both you and VivaciousScorp were immediately jumping to the conclusion that I was referring to the inferiority issues in relation to me, when in fact I was talking about how they come off when interacting with others, with me by their side.

The problem is not that they are competetive or insecure, it's that they show it so bluntly that it's painfully awkward to watch-- or to be around. I feel like doing them a favor and taking them aside so they don't do more damage to themselves than what they've already done. The Achille's heel is always exposed with these guys. I could tell you stories, but I'm at work atm.

yes. but he does have strong leo placements. a stellium.

a scorpio man with different placements might change, plus upbringing.

but ultimately, he's still kind of "exalted" in the sun. Because Mars is their traditional ruler. (similar to Aries, but expressed differently as you already know)

that is most likely a "passionate" response. Or they quietly sit and listen and absorb your responses. There's always an inner turbulent energy going on inside.

i'd have to agree with whatu...

they aren't influenced by what other people say about them. My husband doesn't give a shit for the most part. I've witnessed alot between him and his boss, when they are in phone conference. but that's personal, so i'm just gonna say what i'm gonna say. there is no whining, no fear from him at all.

And I don't mean competetive proffessionally, but competetive as in constantly having to prove themselves about some personal shit no one else in the room even cares about. One can't help but put two and two together when these peeps start going off on a tangent.

I certainly wouldn't count myself as offended. You've certainly made brought up some relevant observations you've had. I don't disagree with those observations entirely, but some of the behavior you've described can be applied to males AND females from my observations. I'm positive not all Scorpio women act like the two Debbie Downers I work with.

Obviousely, but women don't have that male ego to feed. Men do. Naturally there's gonna be a significant difference between what men and women make their priority to get into arguments about. Scorp males seem to often get into arguments to prove something to themselves or to others, while with the women of this sign, there seems to be a lot less insecurities and egos invested in the arguments they choose to be passionately opinionated about.
